Our triple room was really spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The enclosed garden was wonderful and much appreciated by our dog! The host is so welcoming and breakfast in the next-door bakery was amazing. The village is fairly small and quiet but there are a couple of really nice restaurants, and there is a great bar just a short walk away on the river.

It wasn’t a particularly warm weekend but I expect the room could be quite hot in high summer. Although the bed was really large and comfortable, it was a bit creaky! But these small negatives didn’t spoil our stay at all.

Friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Personal touch at breakfast time is lovely, plentiful amount of food and if you don't eat it all you can pack up and take with you, which is great for cyclists or a journey home. Great bar situated on the Rhine a short distance away, easy walk to Marksburg Castle from the hotel. A few good restaurants within walking distance. Boppard river ferry is a short distance away for days out. Recommend asking for a quiet room as you can hear traffic noise at the front of the hotel.

We stayed for one night on our way to tour Bavaria and follow the 'Romantische Strasse'. The room was not very big but fine for one night and the bed was comfortable. Our breakfast was fabulous with everything brought to our table. Coffee was very good and plentiful. The staff were just great and although very busy, they made sure that we had everything we wanted. The landlady gave us a great recommendation to an outdoor wine bar by the river where we spent a great evening!

Parking was difficult as the guest house car park was very small and on a 'first come, first served' basis.

I have been hiking Rheinsteig and by far this was the best place I stayed in Florian greeted me and checked me in the room was spacious and extremely clean with a very good quality and comfortable bed It was a outside sitting area to sit and listen to water running from a fountain Breakfast was excellent, Andrea welcomed me in cafe and I have to say she is an amazing person All in all I recommend this place strongly

Braubach is a small quiet town on a picturesque section of the Rhine. The hike up to the castle above the town is scenic and takes about 30 minutes. Another hike a bit longer goes to a neighboring hill with great views of the town and castle for photos. The hotel was pleasant, accommodations reasonably priced and roomy, with access to a garden. The breakfast was super. Go to the Braubacher Weingarten and try the local wines.

It was so clean. SOOO clean. We got there about 4 hours before check in time - super tired and jet lagged and they found a room for us anyway. They don't speak much English, but they tried hard. Also, check in is at the cafe next door - we stood at the front door of the hotel and didn't know what to do. We buzzed and the nice lady kept saying "cafe! cafe!" The breakfast was delicious - the fresh bread is amazing - it came with an egg, meats, cheeses, and a TON of fresh bread with different spreads. Abundant and delicious.

Location was great. Rhine river boat dock and the train station were near by. Breakfast was terrific. You couldn’t ask for anything better. Great breads, wonderful variety of fruit, egg was perfect, meats and cheeses very good, and tasty peach yogurt. She brought us bags to make sandwiches for lunch with leftover butter, meat, cheese, and rolls that were great on the train.

Hotel Garni Maas is really well located in Braubach. our host Andrea could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. The snack bar a thoughtful inclusion with something for everyone. The breakfast was delicious and generous. I cannot recommend highly enough!

What a lovely place to stay. So charming and in an excellent location too. The (lady) owner was very lovely and friendly and obviously wanted us to enjoy our time. We arrived on motorbikes and she insisted that we put them in her garage over night, which was very much appreciated.

It was very hot and a fan in the room would have made it a little more comfortable. Other than that, faultless !

Pretty village ! Very nice owners - despite our late arrival, they went out of their way to accomodate us, park our cars and store our bikes Owner spoke only German but was trying very hard to help and make sure we had what we needed Rooms were spacious, great for families wanting to separate the kids from the parents Breakfast was massive, lots of food and owners insisted we prepare picnics for the kids !
