The breakfast was delicious. Plenty of choice, fresh and home made options. The hotel is central, easy to find and within easy reach of the city, the station and public transport. The room was clean and the hotel confirmed to COVID requirements.

For sensitive sleepers, you could hear people walking up and down the stairs from my particular room but it didn't disturb me and it's an old building, remodeled into a hotel so you accept this when you choose the charm of the hotel.

This is a wonderful hotel, with the location on the historic Magni neighbourhood with its medieval church next to it. I had a view of the church from the room. There were lovely cafes next to it, perfect for long summer evening to relax. The rooms are clean and although they have no AC, i slept well even on a day that was 40 degrees outside.

Paradoxically, i could get internet on the other side of the square but not in my room.

The automated key safes in the lobby are very convenient. The place is clean and looks beautiful, especially the restaurant. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff was very pleasant.

Searching for a parking space (paid) outside can be a challenge. There was an outdoor party just outside the hotel, but it ended just after 10 pm.

Perfect location, great historical component. An easy way to get in even if you come at night. There's an electric kettle and some tableware (cuttlery, plates, cups). I'd like to come here again

There's a cool openair bar near hotel. That's the reason why it can be rather noisy at night in summer, when the windows oh the appartment are opened.

Rooms and facilities adequate for the price, half-timbered house and furnishings of the rooms are very coherent, day & night access, hotel centrally located, cafes, bars in close proximity

Longer stay hindered by lack of closet, sink was not firmly anchored, very noisy room (footsteps and snippets of conversation audible from other rooms).

The location of the hotel is in the very centre. I really liked the theme where it was they have managed to keep the building with a traditional look but have a quite modern inside.

Very highly recommended! A modern boutique hotel in a gorgeous building, with friendly staff, modern rooms, and located within minutes of most of Braunschweig's sights and attractions. The Magniviertel is a wonderful neighbourhood and this hotel is in the middle of it. Facilities are excellent (with one minor exception, see above) and hygiene standards were top notch. Definitely recommended!

Only one (very minor) complaint: Wifi signal in my room (201) was very weak. Otherwise, this is an excellent option!

The room and the hotel were perfect! Nice atmosphere and great staff. Also the breakfast was amazing!

The only thing that was a bit of a struggle were the shower curtains that were being blased away by the shower head beam and the really low toilet.

Amazing place, great location. Breakfast was really gorgeous in a cosy hotel restaurant - for this alone is worth to come back. Really atmospheric and soulful hotel.
