The hotel is well-located and everything is within reach. It´s a small town anyway. The hotel has a nice breakfast with a variety of options and also has a Biergarten in summer.
The Internet is a dissaster. :( You can only get a full connection from a few parts of the hotel.

Great location close to the old town and river
Unmanned reception after 3pm on Sundays - make sure you read the information the hotel sends you in booking.com about accessing your room key from the key box by the night entrance if you’re going to arrive on Sunday evening.

The location is close to the train station, and easily accessible by car with lots of parking space. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and pleasant room with good amenities. The breakfast was pleasant as well.

Super hotel located on an island on the approach to the lovely Bavarian town of Cham. Very clean, very helpful staff and a simple but good menu of typical German fare. Some of the staff spoke English which helped as my German is non existent. I was visiting the area for work but managed to have an afternoon of which enabled me to visit the town - beautiful - lots to see, quirky streets and seven amazing churches. You have to visit the town square to see the maypole, sculpture and enjoy a glass of beer and a delicious pastry or two. Really good experience.
No buffet at breakfast, so the staff brought you what they thought you would like. I'd like to be able to choose for myself and not speaking German hindered my choices. No early check out, not good if you need to get back to Munich for an earlyish flight. You need to arrange to check out the night before you leave
