Excellent breakfast, very nice staff, excellent arrangements in the hall for bottles of beer, tea and coffee. And the whole hotel feeling clean and well organised. The chairs and tables outside very helpful and practical, with car-parking outside a real luxury.

Our room (under the roof) was VERY warm. And my bed was far too soft: I had to re-make it by removing the soft mattress-topper and re-making the bed with the sheet on the mattress.

If you are looking for a great location in Detmold that has excellent facilities for bike storage with breakfast include this is your Hotel. Very nice staff too. Room was beautiful, even had an outside terrace. We enjoyed our two nights at Elizabeth Hotel and Detmold. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Thank you.

Delicious breakfast, excellent coffee, great selection of self-service drinks and snacks in the lobby, very friendly service, nice bikes available for guests at no cost, very clean, has an inclusion policy we support. Perfect location for accessing restaurants and attractions, and plentiful free parking. You can arrive late and still find a spot.

Breakfast excellent, staff extremely helpful and friendly. The home-made rolls were extremely good.

The door opening into the block containing our room (Apartment One) was extremely hard to open; there should be an electrical opening for those like myself (almost eighty) who have to shoulder their way through!

The apartment was clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good and the free parking was a great bonus. Plus the tv included the sky news channel so we could keep up with things

Splendid breakfast (lovely fresh bread) and really helpful people, both in the breakfast room and at the arrival desk - in fact, everywhere in the hotel! The honesty system for acquiring a bottle of beer (or water) in the evening simply excellent. Everything in this hotel had been thought about, and taken care of: I've never known a hotel bathroom with so many places to hang things up, for example.

The liquid soap in our bathroom needed renewing . . . and the small pillows were a touch too firm. Nothing else could be criticised! We were thoroughly impressed and will certainly stay there again.
