Lovely quiet location - loudest noise was horses passing down the road! Room was clean and comfortable - we slept well. Very relaxed atmosphere, wished we were staying longer as I'm sure it would make a good base for exploring the area.

Unfortunately we arrived after a local fete so there was no-one around and the restaurant was shut for the evening - which was a shame as it looked great (and the local restaurants are a bit of a walk away). However the staff were friendly and the breakfast was lovely.

Hotel/Restaurant in a wonderful small town of Wengen. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and the outdoor seating at the restaurant was the perfect ambiance, not to mention the spectacular food. Hotel and restaurant appear to be managed a staffed by a family who really know how to do hospitality.

the hotel is in a quiet place, the environment is beautifully arranged, the hotel has charm, quiet, cozy and tidy place, the staff answered all the questions at any time of the day, we arrived late, so late check-in was a great choice for us, the rooms are clean and warm, which I like, the warmth is huge plus, great experience, good luck 🙂

We were on a multi-day motorcycle trip and wanted a a stay at an out of the way small, comfortable hotel with a good restaurant. Mara more than satisfied our goals. The restaurant is excellent for dinner. There is a charge for breakfast, but the breakfast is also excellent. The location is off the beaten path, but that was what we were looking for.

Everything was perfect! Excellent service and a lovely attention to detail makes Hotel Mara a real gem. The restaurant is fantastic (some of the best Turkish food I've had) and very popular in the area.

Absolutely nothing. Really.

The room and the shower were awesome. The resturant is good (the food and the cool garden), the breakfast was very good as well.

There is no separation between the resturant kitchen and the hotel. The smell from cooking is all over the place, we had to run into our room to have the room door open for a shorter time as possible. There is no reception, so was hard to find the staff when we needed them.

Great room decor, quite and atmospheric location, delicious food at the local restaurant, friendly staff! One can’t wish for more on a quiet weekend getaway!

I would prefer a fluffier, higher pillow. 😊

This was a charming, stylish, and super cozy hotel. Our room was wonderful. The bed was so comfy and the bathroom was really modern and polished. The location is also picturesque and serene. Everyone was so welcoming — and the breakfast was delicious!

Set In the countryside , beautiful location & rooms, friendly staff, huge breakfast.

Be aware that you have basically no network atleast not with Vodafone provider.
