Hotel Deutsches Haus is the perfect mix of tradition and modern comfort. The building is rich in history and we enjoyed seeing the many elements that were lovingly preserved. Our rooms were spacious and had a modern twist. We loved that we could open the windows and enjoy the wonderful view of the main street. The breakfast offered at the hotel was our favourite of the trip with plenty of options to choose from. Free overnight parking is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. We also loved exploring Dinkelsbühl. It was wonderful to walk the cobblestone streets - especially early in the morning before day visitors arrived. There is also a really fun playground that our daughter loved playing on.

Our only complaint is that we wished we would have stayed more than one night! And while this wasn't a problem for our group, the stairs in the original building are long and steep.

This is a lovely hotel. We stayed in the old side as opposed to the more modern building to the right. The buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant in the new hotel. This was excellent with plenty of choice. All fresh and well presented. We'd booked a room with a minibar, but the fridge was unfortunately empty. So, maybe request this at check-in if this is important to you. The hotel has a perfect location and is really ideal if you are visiting this lovely town. I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.

Nothing to be too upset about, but the minibar would have been nice had it been stocked up.

We slept in the anciet building and it was beautiful, (also the new one was cool) we had breakfast in the new one. The location is superb beacuse you are in the centre of the city, the parking is free and is only 500m away.

The hotel is fantastic and also the staff but there are only few problems that maybe could be solved. There is no elevator in the ancient building because the structure is ancient and it’s a problem when you have to reach the bedroom with the luggages it could be useful the luggage service in the room. The reception is in the new building and it’s not well reported, in the ancient building there is no receptionist and the entrance door opens with a sensor as soon as you pass by.

Beautiful building with a lot history. The room was large and comfortable for the three of us. The location is extremely central. The breakfast was really good, with a lot of variety and the staff was extremely gentle. The hotel is made of two separate buildings, one historic with all the interiors in the original style and a "new" one (building is still historic but has been renewed) with all modern interiors, in which you have the breakfast.

Just a couple of really small remarks: the square where the hotel is located could be closed for some events, so it could be that you cannot park directly in front of the hotel (but actually you can park some meters away, so really not a big deal - just that you are aware once arriving) - but on the really bright side, you are really in the heart of the city! The breakfast is in the "new" building, so if have to walk outside if you are sleeping in the historic building (again, not a big deal - just that you are aware).

Room was very spacious and well appointed (Master Suite). Beautiful view of the old city from the room. Breakfast was very nice. Very well decorated common areas (including a TV room) which had beautiful relics from the past. Back balcony allowed for smoking which is a huge plus for smokers!

There were issues with the shower water going cold during a shower which I mentioned to the staff at check-out and they said they would look into it immediately. Restaurant was by appointment only and seemed more upscale than a common American traveler would be interested in, so we avoided it. If traveling by car, you will have to park outside the city wall after checking in and walk (about 5 min.) back to the hotel, but this can not be avoided considering the fabulous location of the hotel.

The property was beautiful. The hotel is In the middle of town. We stayed in the blue house(this has two places one is pictured) and it had everything you could want. The breakfast was plentiful the room is big and clean. The employees were great and there wasn’t anything that they wouldn’t do to get what you needed

The ac was not cool. But that’s not the property’s fault. The tablet to communicate can be confusing. I figured the tablet out to make calls and look up information But some older people may not.

Great hotel, wonderful first impression that was maintained throughout the stay. Super room, with the blend of modern and traditional. Parking instructions were clear and accurate, which is essential in the town. Breakfast was super and such a pleasant change not having a buffet, table service felt much more elegant, to match the surroundings. Coffee was rich and plentiful. Overall the experience was excellent from checkin to check out !!. Would highly recommend.

The room was super, and I am just picking on details here... it was a bit warm, especially at night and while it was great to be able to open the window ( which isnt always possible) , the bread delivery and churchbells did make for an early start !. The other thing was (as another review mentioned) the bathroom light is on a motion sensor. Which is super convenient after a few in the Brauhaus but it stays on way too long and lights up the whole room as its a glass door. The other thing for me... I never do well with these stupid (German !!) large, square pillows with now filling in them. You spend half the night trying to get the filling into one corner so its supportive enough.... but again thats my issue.

This hotel is at the center of the town with many restaurants around including one at the hotel. We stayed at the newly renovated building although it would be cool had we stayed at the original historic building. The renovated building is very contemporary interior wise and super clean. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. The breakfast was exceptionally good and delicious.

The pillows were kind of fluffy but not enough volume. I usually don’t like pillows too tall but I used two and still felt not enough.

After a long drive on the Romantic Road, it is a nice hotel along the route. Parking is available for short-term pickup and dropoff and close to a nearby long-term parking area just outside the historic city walls. I was given an upgraded room on arrival and the room was quite nice and recently renovated. There is a nice restaurant downstairs that asks for reservation, which seemed easy to obtain. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of cold and hot food.

Super central, most iconic building of the old town. Authentic in the lobby and restaurant however our room had a modern decor. The room was spacious and had all we needed, ironing board, kettle and a mini bar. Good size bathroom with shower products and body lotion. The room has a tablet where you book your breakfast the evening for the following morning. Not enthusiastic as one of the best things about the breakfast is the looking and choosing. However once ordered, the breakfast was very very nice and of good quality.

A little noisy, no air conditioning (although fan is available on request). The third bed for my son was really makeshift, placed at the foot of our bed. It was a fold up bed with a paper thin mattress and his ankles where dangling from the end. Not really a third “bed”. Shame and not what I expected from a 4 star hotel. He was disappointed and didn’t sleep as it was quite uncomfortable.
