Great little hotel, just off the motorway. Super friendly owners who were attentive and just made the experience for us. The food in the restaurant was first rate, my wife is vegetarian and although choices for her were limited, she still found something good to eat. The room was super clean and well appointed. The grounds were well kept with plenty of outside areas for drinking and chatting, Just a very smart, but super friendly hotel. We will be back here for sure. For my fellow english travellers, the hosts spoke good english and the restaurant menu also has an english version. Made to feel like we had been staying there for years, super friendly!!

Only small comment, 1 or 2 extra vegetarian dishes on the menu would be amazing.

We liked the hosts, the location and the electric car charging on site. It was very quiet and close to the town centre. The night we arrived, the staff were enjoying their Christmas Party. The hosts telephoned us during the day and gave us instructions as to where they would leave the key. Wine and beer were left out for guests to help themselves as the restaurant was not open that night.

Nothing. It was perfect.

The hotel is clean , quiet and big . My husband and I loved the pillow because its smooth/fluffy and we have a very good sleep in out one night stop before heading back to Denmark from spain . The Breakfast is great i love the strawberry and pineapple fruit .

I don’t have anything to dislike the hotel property but it would be great if they have a mini bar ref ☺️

The attention received from the hosts was exceptional, we arrived late and had no problem with the check-in. When leaving in the morning, we found a note with greetings and some chocolates and biscuits for our trip as they knew we didn't have time for the breakfast. The room itself was very clean and spacious.

Beautiful hotel and very comfortable and clean, spacious room with a balcony. Owners very accommodating and hospitable. We arrived very early as we had driven through the night, and they made it possible for us to check into the room already in the morning. Lovely quiet location with a wood, perfect for walking the dogs. Restaurant with delicious local food and a good atmosphere.

The staff were excellent and very welcoming. The food served at dinner was very good and we appreciated them holding back at the end of the service to feed us as we arrived late. Breakfast was fantastic, with a nice selection of food available.

We just had a heatwave so it would have been nice if there was air conditioning in the room.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast and the dinner were great. This hotel was also very pet friendly. We highly recommend this hotel.

The location is both close to the motorway and at the same time quiet, tranquil and scenic. The building is located in some woods along a B road. The availability of overnight EV charging is a real bonus.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We arrived late but Helmut, one of the owners, gave us a really warm welcome. Thankfully the restaurant, which was well designed and cosy, was open, apparently only for the next 10 minutes, but that did not seem to be a problem as the service was calm and excellent. Melanie, the second owner took care of us with kindness and helpfulness. (a special thanks for the local beer suggestion, perfect after a long, tiring car journey!) The bedroom was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Beautiful views in the morning from the windows. What can we say about the breakfast? It wasn’t a breakfast, it was a poem about food luxury! In this time of Covid when large city hotels offer a primitive and limited eating experience the Wiesengrund breakfast was a personal well ballanced, interesting presentation, and tasty!! The pictures on the site do not do it justice, it is far better!!!! We would love to come back and we have already suggested this hotel to many of our travelling friends. Lovely owner and staff who welcomed me and my dogs with open arms. I had a lovely sallad for dinner up in my room as I was tired after a long day travelling. The owner was so helpful. A beautiful breakfast was prepared for me the next morning. I will absolutely come back. I can truly recommend this hotel!
