The staff was amazing, even recommending free parking spots. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the whole hotel. The rooms were big and the breakfast was more than acceptable for the price. I also liked the fact that they took my request for separate beds. In general I was very pleased with my stay at Ecoinn.

I would enjoy to have spare pillows already available in the room. (After asking in the reception they were handed in the room in a few minutes).

We had a large double bed and a single bed, both very comfortable. Good view from our windows of the river and small park. Our room was spotlessly clean and shiny. Shower was good with quite good space. Breakfast was usual continental, cereals, cheese, meats ,eggs boiled n scrambled, rolls, bread, toast tea n coffee + more. Our room was so quiet, we slept very well. As usual with many cheaper German hotels no coffee facilities in room but available always in reception area. Reception closes at 22.00 but you get in with keycard. The old town (Altstadt) is 3 mins walk away. The town has many beautiful buildings and restaurants in the main square (try Armonia if you like greek food with a German twist, fabulous!). We used the 122 bus from airport straight to Esslingen 2.90 euro Hohneschule stop.

One tiny thing, window by the single bed didn't have the thick drapes as with the other windows. If we had asked I'm sure they would put some in but it didn't bother us.

We really liked the availability at the front desk, the receptionists are doing a great job. Very good breakfast and large rooms, both double and single. We asked for rooms in a quite side of the building and we were not bothered by any sound from the outside (there is a cinema/bar nearby). The location is in the middle of Hochschule departments basically.

Yes, it is true that room should be renovated and the feeling is an hostel but it did not bother us. Mattresses were too soft though.

Location is top - next to the city center, so you can just reach it by foot; Disadvantage is an absence of the parking place so we had to leave the car at paid parking which is also at some distance from the hotel (but manageable)

Faster replenishment of empty dishes during the breakfast. So you don't need to wait long till the refill of the stocks of veggies or eggs.

Clean and obviously the eco effort the place was attempting. Nice balcony overlooking the water. Tidy rooms, good shower. Some pleasant staff.

Check in at 15.00 hrs was ridiculous! No residents bar, all facilities shut late on despite knowing lots of guests were out at the same event. TV in rooms was pretty poor re the selection of channels.

A little like a youth hostel, but "green," and a good location. Very clean; friendly staff, great view from the breakfast room (above the canal!). Tablet in the room with info about the town, great restaurant recommendations, etc.

It was raining that night, and a delay on the trains! Was also expecting more maps located in the city, but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and bright. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a good choice of things for breakfast. The hotel is a short stroll from the old town and the pedestrian areas, and is ideally situated to walk to the main attractions and squares. We would love to go there again, Esslingen is a very attractive and interesting old town.

Nothing, I can't fault this hotel.

Very good central location, without any major traffic noise. Short walk to the very pretty old town and train station. No onsite parking but public parking nearby. Esslingen is ideally located for exploring Stuttgart and the surrounding area.

The hotel is functional rather than characterful.

Rooms were large and clean.

There must be Security Safe in each room so that valuables, travel documents etc irrespective if the hotel is 3 or 4 or 5 Star. Breakfast selection was very Ordinary and must be looked at and improved as most days by 10.30am we were hungry.

The location was amazing! The breakfast was very good and delicious. The room was very comfortable and warm. The staff staff was very friendly. I admire the fact that the hotel is environment friendly!

The Internet connection was poor at times.
