Very spacious clean room. Very quiet. The location was good near the train station and the waterfront boardwalk.

We were visiting from Canada and none of the information was in English. Also the staff members did not always seem to understand English well. Not sure how many people visit from English speaking countries, but it would help if their was a bit more fluency. It seemed sometimes like the front desk staff were focusing more on their paperwork than the guests. The restaurant waiter was great. Very attentive and he spoke English well.

The hotel is centrally located, only 5 min from the train/bus station and directly on the lake promenade. I had a low season offer, so it was great value for money. The room was big and clean but the air in the room was always a bit stuffy, so I kept the window open all the time. Great and spacious bathroom. There was a fridge, cattle, tea, and coffee in the room. The staff was very friendly and professional. There is an excellent (and expensive) restaurant downstairs and a rich and diverse breakfast (€12) is served there too. Overall, a great experience and value for money in my (low season) case.

The air in the room was stuffy

Location, staff, cleanliness all top notch. Close to Hbf, room spotless, staff friendly and helpful. Room was very well equipped, en suite shower/bathroom squeezed in, mini-fridge & kettle, plenty of space and room window could be opened as well.

This is not really an I didn't like, more a just bit overwelmed. The breakfast was superb, fresh & tasty & plenty of options but I just felt the room was too much. I know it's a highly rated restaurant the rest of the time but I just felt if I touched something & it broke, I'd have destroyed a piece of history. As I said, it's just the way I felt.

The furniture in the room was ill-chosen. Though there was plenty of room, the bedside tables were ridiculously small. The wardrobe had a rail for the 30 dresses you did not bring but no convenient shelves. To watch TV from the large sofa one had to turn one’s head 90 degrees. The “music” at breakfast was too loud and no one wanted it.

Comfort rooms are big and comfortable. Staff was mostly helpful. Good location.

Standard rooms are small. Parking situation is problematic. If you reserve a spot, make sure there is one. Breakfast was bad. The food was standard good but not enough. Staff at the breakfast restaurant is not enough and not friendly. The restaurant is too small for the number of guests and the kitchen doesn't keep up with the needs. All together, breakfast is an unpleasant experience.

The location was perfect just across the street from the lake and restaurants and nice pedestrian walk. The staff was helpful and let us check out a bit late because we had a later train departure. The room was spacious, quiet and very comfortable. We appreciated that it was truly a non-smoking room.

The only down was the entry way was small with a dark sitting area and not very clear directions to the lift.

Everything, apart from the air-conditioning. The breakfast was good and had a good choice. We were given an upgrade to the best room in the room when we arrived , which was fantastic ! We had booked a triple room but we're given a two bedroom room with balcony and a huge room with fridge and large sofa bed and lovely big chairs . A lovely surprise and the lady at the desk was very friendly and accommodating.

Air conditioning wasn't great

Excellent location and staff. The breakfast buffet and service were wonderful. We needed to eat in our room because our mother was disabled. Staff let us select our breakfast choices and served us in our room.

We were under the impression, through booking.com that the hotel was barrier free. Turns out there were many steps to negotiate with the wheel chair, in several locations. The staff at reception might have been more helpful in finding a room that had fewer steps to reach it. Nevertheless, it's a great place for those of us who can walk!

The hotel was better than I expected it to be. It's in a great location, just two minutes walk from lakeside bars and restaurants. No complaints about my room at all. The staff were great. The hotel bar was pleasant enough and the prices were really quite good. I was able to store my motorbike in a locked garage overnight.

Nothing negative to say. I'd stay here again.

The location of this hotel is perfect for people who are going to explore the city on feet or using public transportation. The lake is exactly in front of the hotel which makes it approachable. The railway station is at 5 minutes walk. The hotel has nice vintage look and infrastructure and adds another memory to the the trip.

Can't remember of anything that I will say I didn't like.
