Excellent position if one needs to work at the Research Center in Garching. Just in front of the U-bahn and next door to the University. Rooms are very comfortable and brand new, with a nice decor. Kitchen is functional and each room also has an espresso machine. Overall, a very good experience.

Breakfast could have been better. During the first few days we were given a coupon to go to the breakfast at the Marriott Hotel next door (truly excellent!). However, for the rest of the stay we had to have breakfast in the hotel, which was so so. Good cappuccino, a few croissant, but very limited choice apart from that.

This apartment-hotel is very good overall, especially considering the attractive rates I got. It is new with a modern design, and the facilities are spotless. I appreciated the little kitchen which was enough for me to cook my own meals. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

The wifi could be improved. It was sometimes patchy, especially in the evening when a lot of hotel guests were using it.

- The hotel is only a minute‘s walk away from the U-Bahn and the Mechanical Engineering building. I booked a stay here to take an exam. For that purpose, it really works well. - My room was very clean and good value for money. - Beneath the TV, there is a nice spacious desk to work on. - Many, if not all, rooms include a basic kitchen with a microwave and a stovetop.

- I had to ask the receptionist for a coffee mug, since there were no dishes or kitchen utensils in my room, but I imagine that‘s mostly because of the current pandemic situation. It did not cost extra though, I just had to walk down to the front desk. Chances are you can get plates, etc. as well if you ask nicely. - The reading lamps are held on by magnets, which surprised me a bit when adjusting it for the first time. You just have to be a bit more careful with them. - The window in my room could have been larger, but it did still let plenty of light in. For more light and fresh air, you can open a small door in the wall. The view was mediocre. - I was not able to cast to the TV. It might be restricted by the hotel software, but maybe I just did not figure out how to do it.

Lack of glass or curtain for the shower makes it easy to get the rest of the bathroom wet.

Overall great and comfortable rooms

The hotel is located right next to the Garsching-Forschungszentrum U6 Metro station. Easy access to the Metro is nice, but said station is the last stop in the line. Therefore, this great hotel is quite far from the city centre. For that reason I would expect slightly lower prices.

What a very clean, modern facility The front desk staff was great. Especially the woman working on the day I checked in. I was stressed because of my flight cancellation. She put me at ease with her kind politeness and friendly service.

Nothing!… It surpassed my expectations.

Love that it’s spacious and clean, has greenery & sunset views. Apartment is also literally right next to the station!

didn’t like that the entrance to building shuts off after 10pm and there’s no staff helping to unlock it (usually done by card but the function was spoilt), check out took very long as well as the staff mending counter was new and we were rushing to catch our bus

Everything else was perfect! The location couldn't be better for students, and the rooms are all new still, so perfectly clean and modern. A kitchen is also a very welcome sight in the standard room. I had an incredibly comfortable stay and will definitely book this hotel again in the future!

The price. As there aren't many options in Garching, finding cheap hotels is quite hard, and the price at Stellaris is decent in that regards! As a student, paying for a few nights does, however, add up quite easily.

Cozy and warm room, very clean and comfortable! Excellent location, close to the university and research centers. Entrance in front of the metro station. Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom with large shower. All new and in perfect order. Nice decorations on the walls! Equipped kitchenette (but no tools).

Only a small detail: No tools available in the kitchenette (cutlery, dishes, pots or pans), but it might be due to my short stay and/or covid rules.

Spent one night with the family. Everything is very new and clean. The personnel is nice and friendly. Free parking.

Breakfast is really weak for this price. As I understood they don't have facilities and personnel to cook so don't expect hot dishes. But even cold ones could've been of better quality. And very minor: no youtube on TV in 2022 makes children sad (and parents as a result).
