Good price for what you get, friendly and welcoming staff. A couple of good food options close by, Japanese restaurant in the building has tasty vegetarian options, too.
My room had basically no WiFi connection. The WiFi reached until there, but I had to reconnect every 30 s or so and this worked only in certain corners of the room. This does not qualify as "available WiFi" to me. Someone that needs the room to be fully dark may not be able to sleep well here, the curtains are a semi-transparent red and let through quite a lot of light.

The closeness to the Arena is great and it was very easy to get to. The property was clean and staff very friendly! Myself and my friend booked single rooms without bathrooms (only available ones for the night we stayed) and I was a bit worried about the shared bathrooms but the set-up was great (3 shared clean and spacious bathrooms on our floor). This property is perfect if you are going to the Arena for an event!

The room was OK, location is close to Veltins Arena. Close to the hotel there is tram station with easy access to the city center and railway station. I was allowed to check-in 3 hours earlier, thank you very much for it.
The bed was too soft for me.

The location is perfect for travelling to watch a game at schalke. The room does the job and I had a good nights rest.
Air con would be nice but the fan in the room did okay.

It's a nice hotel. My room was really large - even the bathroom was huge. The beds were comfy. Free parking around the building. Nothing to complain.
It ain't exactly inexpensive, but that's somehow understandable.

The Arena Hotel provided great value for money, the perfect location, and made my after hours check-in very easy. As a bonus, there is a sushi restaurant on the ground floor.

If going to the Shalke arena this hotel is fabulous. The staff are friendly. Nice breakfast, clean rooms.

No fresh fruit for breakfast. Not even one orange, banana, or an apple in the 3 days I had the 12 euro breakfast at hotel.
