Location was nice. There was a bus (Line 2) connecting directly the train station to the Hotel. (Bus stop just outside the hotel! ) Although I arrived on Sunday afternoon, and the reception was closed, I had received detailed instructions on how to find my key and get in. The room was ok, looked clean, with comfortable bed and bathroom, and a small balcony. It had a TV, free wi-fi connection, a small mini bar and ironing board. The heating worked and was indeed needed as the temperature some days in October were quite low. Breakfast was adequate: Coffee, a choice of tea, a choice of cereals, , butter, jams, milk, yoghurt, poridge, choice of breads, some cake, and on demand eggs. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would definitely consider staying there again.

I would like bathroom amenities though such as separate shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, instead of all in one.

Very Friendly Staff. Great location. Fantastic Breakfast. Clean, warm rooms. Mini Bar has just what you need :) Water boiler in the room and the iron machine - very comfortable for Business trips. Internet is super fast. Easy to work from the room and have video conferences.

Baby cot was confirmed way before the trip, but upon arrival it was not in the room. We had to wait and wake up the baby until the cot was placed in. A double room was a bit too small for the 2 ppl and a baby cot. The hotel should take this into consideration and warn the guests so they take bigger room.

Very clean, well maintained and comfortable family owned hotel in a quiet residential area just off the A4 motorway. Friendly staff. The room was very spacious with a small balcony. The hotel has an individualistic classic style. The breakfast was excellent, with a good choice and cooked items to order. The restaurant was closed on the night we were there but we had a good meal at the greek restaurant (Acropolis) 2 door up the street. There is a very good italian restaurant next door to the hotel. The Hotel has 11 parking spaces, 3 in front, 3 to the side and 5 in the basement garage. We had no problem parking on a quiet night. There seems to be plenty of safe on-street parking in the area although parking restrictions (disc) might be in place in some areas. We would stop here again.

A quiet hotel with a good sized room with very comfortable beds conveniently located on the outskirts of Giessen. Parking on site and a lovely breakfast

It's quiet location does mean that it is some way from the centre. We were happy to walk but it is a good walk in to Giessen city centre - probably 20 - 25 mins and it is uphill on the way back. There is a bus

The ambience, the professional and friendly staff, the breakfast. The bus stop directly outside the hotel was a definite advantage; 2 or 3 stops into town and 5 stops out of town to our granddaughter's Uni accommodation.

It was a pity there were no facilities for making coffee or tea in our room. These days one does not know if the restrictions of Covid are the reasons why this is not possible.

The staff is really kind. Beds great. Comfy pillows. Breakfast superb!

There is no real possibility to park at the hotel, especially if you're coming with a bigger car. The garage is very small, narrow, strangely shaped. Parking places in front of the hotel also very narrow. The way other guests parked also didn't help to efficiently use the space available.

My personal preference would be to have more warm food for breakfast: porridge, fried eggs, sausages etc. Only boiled eggs were available. However, the breakfast buffet available was nice :)

A surprising hotel in Germany, the quality of the rooms was much more that I expected, was in the level of the 4 stars hotel in China that I usually stay. The breakfast was affected from the COVID 19 situation but was great anyay (cannot be a buffet in this time). The hotel facilities was really good.

I didn´t enjoy at 100% the restaurant, nice menu but really expensive for what I receive, the same food with a less price or another food with a this price is my suggestion. The parking was another issue, many times i have to park on the road with a risk of a fine due to the maximum parking time.

it was not too large so it felt more like home but it was still private. it was very well kept. Our room had two windows and a small balcony which gave lots of light. The staff were friendly but quite professional.
