Lovely setting in the woods, away from any noise, we only stayed a night as we were travelling, but it was lovely to be able to be able to use the pool and relax after a long day's drive. There's also a steam room and an infrared room, which I will use next time we're coming. The spa and pool had just the right temperature as had the house. The beds were good and comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast great too. I'd forgotten my book for reading in bed, but there were book shelves in the house, where I was able to pick one from. We also had dinner at the restaurant which we enjoyed. All in all worth coming back to and staying for longer.

Location in the middle of the forest but close enough to everything. Attention to details. Clean, facilities, nice pool and sauna. Very kid friendly, although as a sugestion, if they have a spillplatz either in or outdoors would be very nice. Room is big and spacious. Restaurant with nice food (be aware that on weekendd they might have lots of people and the waiting times may not be great specially with small kids)

The view of our room (didnt have any it was the wall/back of the terrace of another room) which in such a lovely hotel was a pity. A playground would be great too. Sofa bed wasnt the most confortable but the main bed was amazing =)

Large comfortable room, nice pool, excellent breakfast, the hotel is in a good location.

The restaurant food was mediocre and we were charged €5,20 for a glass of tap water which we questioned. The management insisted we pay (charge was not in menu), threatened to hold us there till we paid then, after an unnecessary, lengthy altercation they agreed to no charge but said that we must never return to hotel.

Beautiful location in the woods, but still short drives to wherever we needed to go. We had a spacious room with a large shower compared to many hotels we've stayed in. Breakfast was a good selection with delicious coffee, and they even set up and reserved a large table for our big group so we could all sit together. The pool was lovely, the kids were so happy when they "finally" got to go swimming.

Our room had a few cobwebs above the bed, and the tile grout in the shower really needed a scrub. The saunas could only be used with a previous request (so they had time to set them up properly), which we hadn't read or been told. It was confusing trying to book for a family of five. I always search for a room with at least one full/queen bed and one sofa bed, but no such options were listed, so I opted to pay $60/night for two extra beds for two of my kids. When we arrived to the room it was just a sofa bed set up for them- I'm not sure why it isn't listed in the room description, or included in the search for 2 adults and 3 young children. (It was listed as a triple room.)

Warm welcome - much needed after a long wet drive - and the position of the hotel was a delightful surprise. Dinner was excellent as was the breakfast. The receptionist was immensely helpful in finding us a cheese shop locally and his choice was spot on. I also had one of the most comfortable nights in a long time.

It is probably a bit unfair but we could have done with a kettle and tea making facilities in our room. That said, I suspect it is not a German tradition and so should not be taken as serious criticism.

Location, service,friendly staff,efficient,food in restaurant and breakfast ,wine list exquisite in restaurant, menu seasonal fresh , lovely spa. Great outdoors with walking,jogging paths.

Bathroom a little dated and small shower cabin, wifi a little slow, maybe should have upgraded to suite.

we chose the hotel as it was in a perfect location for a stop of a long road trip. we arrived late , after the reception was closed, but the owner still waited for us, and gave useful directions. They had also prepared our room to welcome our dog - two bowls with water and kibbles breakfast buffet was varied and of high quality

Very clean and charming room - Very Calm just in the wood - Great for walking on the forest around - Very good restaurant - pleasant in terrasse or inside.

Need the car to reach center : would not recommand by feet especially in the evening.

Breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable

Air conditioning would have been good but we understand the extremely hot weather was not normal. A lift would have been helpful for my husband but the staff were extremely helpful.
