Host spoke very good English and was very helpful. He booked us a table at a nearby restaurant, I think it was Capito Restaurant. The food and service were excellent, but probably best to avoid if you are on a tight budget. Easy to miss Haus Gebauer as you drive up the street, but the sign is more visible from the other direction. It is next to Haus Monika whose sign is very visible. Private parking is excellent. We enjoyed walking around the lovely town. The owner has taken a lot of care and attention. Would definitely recommend.

We booked just 30 minutes before arriving for a stopover from the Alps home to Belgium. The room was impeccable, clean, well appointed, including with a wellness shower. There were little touches to make the stay special, like some chocolate, tea, access to a fridge etc. The village itself could be overlooked, but is home to an ancient monastery, now incorporated into an expensive hotel. going up there (5 minutes from the guesthouse) upon leaving was well worth it. I forgot my electric toothbrush and the landlady tried to find me in the village and then texted me, so that I could still come back to recover the toothbrush; a service that I have never before experienced. Just amazing.

This was the most perfect and clean accommodation we've ever seen. Not only that, attention has been given to every detail. There is even a cabinet in the corridor with tea, coffee (and a good one), cups, plates, cutlery and a jar with cookies and chocolates. The bed was very large and super comfortable. The outside terrace was great. Unfortunately we could only stay one night because of our travel plans but will definitely be back. The checkout time of 11:00 made that we didn't have to hurry.

Good car parking opposite the accommodation Clearly marked! Shops and lovely little town not far away ! Good hosts, friendly, google helps with language barrier! All very clean and tidy, spacious room! On the ground floor my room was so extremely convenient! Super comfortable bed! Photos are accurate and highly recommended place for a short lay over

Nothing to dislike

The hosts were very welcoming and kindly made a reservation at the local restaurant when we enquired. The apartment was spotless and had everything we required. The property also included a parking space for our motorcycles.

Ideal for a relaxing night after a long drive. Exceeded my expectation. The people I met were really friendly. The room was exceptionally well appointed and the shower was top class. Restaurant Capito was superb.

Spotlessly clean & tidy, lovely attention to detail, with those little things added that make you know the owners want their guests to experience a comfortable stay.

I liked all the extra little touches, lots of bath oil/salts, good coffee and lots of different tea options including a mini bar. There were also toys and games for the children which was really nice.

There was no spare bedding for our 5th person

Spacious apartment with lots of attention to detail. I especially liked the small wellness section next to the bath tub :) Good wifi, comfortable bed, welcoming hosts - we were so happy with our stay.

The only thing i did not like is that the shower is small for me, considering that I am a big guy 😀 other than that everything else is great with that price
