Lovely location and exceptional room. Staff were very helpful and gave us restaurant recommendations and helped us with bookings.

Parking is near the gate some distance from the hotel itself and we were asked to park there which meant having to walk along a remote driveway to return to our room at night. Also, was unable to check out and had to wait until after 8am. Maybe arrange with staff the evening before if you need an early checkout. Also, just park near the hotel itself and not in the designated parking area - no one really minds I think.

The rooms are exceptional in design and finish, lots of space, bathroom with bathtub and large walk in shower, every little detail was immaculate. Super friendly people. The castle is amazing, I walked the garden and grounds for more than an hour, could have spend a lot more time if I had more time available. Truly the most amazing hotel experience in my life by a wide margin. The breakfast which is really good is very reasonable in price and the breakfast room again is designed in every little detail, with exposed old brickwork, some old wood floor planking was used as finish.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Beautiful location. The area surrounding the castle hotel is really nice. Big, nice and clean rooms. Really enjoyed my stay there.

The car parking for the hotel guests is a bit far from the hotel. Then again cannot complain about having to walk through those beautiful surroundings.

no choice and poor quality of fruit juice at breakfast (just orange) shame that it was not clearly highlighted that the restaurant did not work at dinner. It was one of the reason of the choice of the hotel

Our room was fabulous, our jaws dropped when we saw the beautiful bathroom with sliding glass doors. Obviously new, modern and top quality fittings. So much thought - even a bottle of alcohol-free beer in the mini bar. The surrounding park is magnificent.

We got there after reception closed at 6pm. The hotel had rung to give us passcodes but it was hard to find the hotel entrance as the property has many buildings and we were seemingly the only guests. (The hôtel only has 9 bedrooms). But we rang the tel. number given and a very helpful man arrived within two minutes and sorted everything out for us. Breakfast was expensive for what it was and we were charged per cup of coffee. More of a buffet would be welcome. There was no fresh fruit or cereal options. We were disappointed the castle is only open for visits 2-6pm.

Super clean and spacious room. The breakfast was very nice and the staff really friendly. Really quite and relaxing place for a nice getaway. Definitely returning again.
