Not much to complain about, really. The rooms are good value for money and I think the hotel is a great option for those in transit through Baden-Württemberg. There's no noise coming from roads or industrial compounds or anything like that. The nearby town of Ulm is worth a visit. The overall score is 9 - excellent (I reserve 10 for absolutely exceptional stays at wonderful locations with non-standard infrastructure).

In our case, the check-in was slow. There was only one receptionist available. We had to queue and it took around 15-20 minutes to get our keys (or cards, actually). I believe there should be a simplified procedure for those who have already booked and paid.

Large room and comfortable bed

There is no refrigerator! Big deficiency for a hotel room. There was no soap or a shampoo, we couldn’t even wash our hands properly. Not even one tiny bottle. Strange for a hotel room. Poor comunication with the reception, they don’t answer the phone at all. They answered our many many messages on Booking.com very late and we were worried about our late check-in and how are we going to get the room keys.

In an overall assessment, I must acknowledge that this hotel warrants a high rating. It is essentially patterned after those conventional standards that are distinctive of the mid-range hotel chains such as Ibis, Travelodge, Tulip Inn, Holiday inn express and so forth. Still, its location within the region is nothing short of appalling, amidst a somewhat bleak landscape, basically a seemingly ghost town. The staff is considerate and responsive, to some extent the front desk clerks proved to be genuinely down-to-earth and forthcoming people which is pretty uncommon in Germany, literally this has been an authentic oddity, I would dare say.

Clean, nice style, easy parking.

I'm a former hotel receptionist, so this is what I would do differently: The two receptionists were sweet. But they were busy talking and didn't look up or tell us to wait for a second when we arrived. They just kept talking and let us wait. They didn't give us any info, so we had to ask for everything ourselves - which kind of makes you feel unwelcome. The pillows were pretty bad.

Quiet location in the middle of nowhere ;-) Ample free parking space available. Some restaurants and petrol stations nearby. Nice modern comfortable rooms with good shower and wifi. Breakfast and wifi are also good. Elevator available to reach upper floors. Free coffee and tea available 24/7 in the lobby.

Air-conditioning in both rooms I tried non-working while air-conditioning did work in the lobby and corridor areas. During hot summer this is not comfortable. Smokers area in front of the main door, so going in and out you're always walking through other peoples smoke.

The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She allowed us to check in way early, and adjusted our overall price at checkout because she noticed that my husband hadn't eaten breakfast (he likes to sleep in). Our room was very clean, quite spacious, and very quiet. AC was working, but we were also able to turn it off (as well as open the window). There was hand sanitizer on every table as well as in the elevator. Free coffee all day long!

There was no soap or shampoo (which I should have expected probably, the rates are very affordable). While the bed itself was very comfortable, I could have done with a bigger pillow, or a second one - I did not ask however, so they might offer one if asked. The breakfast buffet was rather meat heavy, there was some cheese and yogurts, but close to no vegan options. The location of the hotel is rather isolated, don't come here if you don't have a car. There are two restaurants in walking distance, but you are pretty much in the middle of the industry area.

Very good value for money, modern design, good breakfast, very nice and helpful staff, a good restaurant and a petrol station next to it.

We were a couple but the room was made up for only one person. The location is a little remote. A tea/coffee tray would be useful.

Very big rooms and cheack in was easy late at night as we told in advance we are late - so they left key in the safe. Thank you for that. Hotel is new, and looks fresh. Its about 20km from Ulm. Free parking onsite was also nice. Also they have coffee and tea in the lobby for free.

I think there was an issue with our bed linen… cause it was only the base, but not the sheet it self. But it was already superlate, and we were too tired to search for someone.

- paying extra for a cat - scrambled eggs made with powder eggs, tastes very bad... wasn't expecting from such quality of hotel... eggs are quite cheap, not sure why they do it 🤦🏼‍♀️ - no soap in the bathroom and half empty cosmetic bottles - airco or ventilation didn't work. Was too hot in the room, open window generates lots of noise.

A wonderfully calm and cozy hotel that was perfect for a night's stay and made us wish we could stay longer. The room was tastefully furnished, bright and with super comfy beds and a nice, large shower. Complimentary coffee is a special bonus - and it's delicious! Even the hotel lobby has a pleasant vibe to it and the huge leather couches are a great place to chill with your cappuccino before hitting the road again.

This is a very minor thing, but the bedside lamps don't actually direct the light in a way that would enable you to read - they just illuminate the bedside table.
