Let's start with not 5 stars. Location is pretty much city centre but hotel is actually managing this very very well. When sitting in a hotel bar outside it's simply busy and loud from the street. This also applies to location. On the other hand staff at the reception... Lady we dealt with is the most polite, happy and funny we ever had pleasure to deal with. This is coming from someone who not only been guest in Europe of high quality hotels. Additionally a bar staff gentleman who was serving us on the day was again the most professional happy and helpful person we death with in a long time. It just shows customer service did not die here in Europe and it certainly is at the highest level in Hyperion Hotel Leipzig.

Outside hotel can get noisy as in direct proximity of main street. It's very much a personal thing and therefore not very much applicable to hotel as it's for masses. I personally prefer a bit harder head pillow on bed.

Very warm welcome, very nice rooms and ambience. The reception process was awesome: I was welcomed with a bright smile, felt immediately “at home”. As an visibly non-binary person I especially liked the fact that no personnel (reception, bar) ever had any problems with gendering (or in this case: not gendering me at all). It always feels very special to get the feeling that the person on the side uses non-gendered language just naturally, just as default without any problems. I arrived on May 29th, 15:30. to the person at the reception at that time who welcomed me: THANK YOU for your kindness. You are an awesome person.

Super nice staff, clean rooms, amazing breakfast, great location... amazing experience overall except the Sauna

On both days of our stay, the saunas were switched off!!! On the first day, we were 30 mins in the spa area when we realized it and when the staff came in, they informed us that it switches off automatically. On second day, we immediately realized upon entering the sauna that it was off. After calling the reception we waited for some 20 mins for them to come. It was truly frustrating.

Beautifully furnished modern hotel right across the street from the main train station. Staff was very friendly. The room was supremly quiet, the bed very comfy. If you are a light sleeper and quiteness is important to you, then this hotel is for you! Breakfast was also delicious and very diverse. The hotel has a deal with a parking garage nearby, where you can safely park your car for a very reasonable 13 EUR/day.

The parking garage is 3-5 minutes on foot from the hotel, so if you keep forgetting things in your car, it's not that confortable to keep going back and forth between the hotel and the parking garage.

Everything! Could not fault anything about this hotel. It's the best one I've stayed in. Staff were warm and helpful, the room was amazing with touch screen lighting and sensor lights. Breakfast was just the best I've had - every diet is catered for, the choice and quality is 10/10. It is located right next to the train station which gives you access to the region. The centre is just a 5 minute walk.

Nothing at all, I could not fault one single thing

Room was tidy and clean, location is superb next to the station and they have an agreement with the parking lot next door for lower rates. The breakfast in the hotel is very comprehensive and would certainly recommend it.

The elevators are a little slow, and despite having a decent spa with both 60* and 90* sauna’s, a relaxation room and outside area, there were no slippers nor bathrobes provided in the room.

The hotel is well located and the staff was very nice! We have enjoyed the breakfast, the sauna and the room very much.

I felt accused from one of the staff at the reception for stealing a towel while I was carrying a sweater in my hands. I guess if you want to steal a towel you probably put the towel in your bag and don’t carry it in your hands. The way he addressed his assumptions was very uncomfortable and disrespectful.

room service forgot to fill up coffee tray and trashcan didn’t got emptied after room cleaning. some dust on the mirror in bathroom. I asked business lounge attendee for something sweet at one evening ( he just moved away the chocolate) but only thing he offered was a bottle of coke. I assumed from a hotel in this price class a little bit more service ( especially when the room cart was full of candy, but locked away for guests)

The room is spacious and includes a small desk and an area to hang clothes and lay out your luggage. They provide two waters and coffee/tea machine. I loved the control panel by the bed for the lighting and air conditioning. Despite facing the train station, the room was very quiet. Also, awesome breakfast with lots of options!

Fresh room, clean and we loved the bathroom. Nice facilities with a great breakfast.

The parking is a bit further away from the hotel, I believe that a 5-star hotel should have their own parking with supervision not a regular public parking garage near the train station.
