Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The evening meals were absolutely superb with scrumptiously fried potatoes, which I had to have every evening!! The staff were very obliging and cheerful, especially the lady in charge of the breakfast and the waitress. It was great to have a room for my family and myself to have breakfast and evening meals. My grandchildren really enjoyed the bowling, possibly more than the food!! The location of the hotel was ideal, secluded but not too far away from the town centre. It was marvellous to have Re We nearby so that I could buy a lot of food to take home. Our rooms were indeed very comfortable and great to relax in. The decor throughout the hotel and the colour scheme were well planned. I must thank you for making our stay ever so welcome and memorable.

Though I was comfortable in my room but I felt that there was too much of the fruit tea and only two coffee sachets. I had to ask for more coffee and milk because I absolutely loathe tea! Another thing I dislike is 'sparkling mineral water' and I much prefer still water but that is a minor point.

Breakfast was excellent. Buffet very complete including assorted Brotchen, deli meats and cheeses as well as scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Large pot of coffee delivered to our table. Complete and delicious! Room was spacious, light, comfortable and had in room coffee. Bath towels good size and absorbent. Shower had good water flow and plenty of hot water. Everything very clean.

Only thing I’d like is one or two English language TV channels, but it’s not very important. WiFi is strong and I get the news online.

A lot of choice for breakfast things to eat, yoghurt, muesli, bacon and eggs, fruits etc. it all looked very good.

Pancakes were a bit dry. The staff was very busy, when you had a question (during breakfast or dinner) it took some time before anyone could help you. Although they wer busy, always very kind and helpfull.

Atmosphere, and staff were formidable. For 1 person, or couple, perfect. Dietary requests handled well.

Limited public transport in the weekends, not all staff speak English, French, or Spanish. Very few English speaking channels for free available.

I didn't expect too much from 3-start hotel, but I was very pleasantly surprised with "Zum Marchenwald". Staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel has spacious restaurant offering tasty food. They have also bar and bowling. We got big and clean room and very good breakfast.

Very clean and comfortable room for an overnight stay. Excellent breakfast choices. Blackout shutters and comfortable bed made for a good sleep. Very nice meal in the restaurant. Wifi worked very well.

Room location required a walk from the carpark around the end of the building , Being away from the main area of the hotel felt rather isolated.

My room was in a new extension of the main building and everything was nice, modern and clean. The good room heating was very appreciated on this snowy night! Very good breakfast. I liked the homemade savoury muffins!

We were here for 1 night on a multiday cycling holiday. Good size room & ensuite, modern, clean. Had jug, but no fridge. Included a good breakfast, & secure storage for our bikes.

Hotel I located in the very nice and quiet area. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean. Breakfast was very nice and there was many choices. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful place, the owner could not have been more helpful , and the food elevated the place even further. The room was really comfortable. 9/10 in my book.
