I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that left a lasting impression on both me and my children. From the moment we stepped foot inside, we were transported into a world that felt reminiscent of the magical Harry Potter universe. This unique atmosphere was a major highlight for my kids, who were thrilled to experience a hotel with such an enchanting ambiance. One aspect that truly stood out during our stay was the exceptional food offered by the hotel. One of the rooms we booked had a bad smell, but because of the short stay we did not manage to complain at the reception. We've noticed that the cleaning stuff was trying to fix the problem after our checkout though.

Perfect location for skiing or hiking in the area. The room was clean and there was enough space for the family of three. Breakfast had a good choice of food. The personal was very friendly.

It could be a bit cold in the room in winter.

The hotel restaurant was closed (at the moment?) But we had great dinner at Hofwirth zur Post, Just across the river/ street, 5 min walk.

Good breakfast, clean rooms, very authentic and cozy, the staff are very nice and helpful The location is very good and close to so many good places, and free parking

Room was great. Staff were excellent - provided me with kettle and cutlery when I requested it, Room was a decent size. Good beds and shower.

Breakfast was basic for vegetarians (not hot options for us). We had a selection of 3 cereals, bread, yoghurt and fruit. Keeps us trim (we normally eat hot breakfast as well on holiday so that we can eat lunch later in the day. We were all hungry by midday.

Lovely hotel which we have used in the past. Our only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed on the Monday evening & the recommendation to another one was unfortunately fully booked so had to get back in the car .

Comfortable room, kind host, enough parking space, good wifi.

Very hot in the room at night during summer but not possible to open the windows as there are no mosquito nets. There are two doors to each room. There could be more shampoo for the guests.

Everything was excellent. The staff was friendly, the room and bathroom very very clean. Room was very spacious Location in a quiet area. Breakfast very varied and excellent.

Nice, helpful staff. Comfortable heated rooms. Centrally located.. Restaurant at the bottom of the hotel with fine cuisine and an extremely helpful waiter.

Wi-Fi is often stuttered. There were few vegetables in the breakfast only. Local tax was not predicted in the booking.com system (not included ín the price).

Very nice and clean two star hotel but feels like a three star and more upscale. The breakfast was good and dogs are allowed but for a 10€ fee per night. It's close to the Chiemsee.

No lift, only stairs.
