Staying at this hotel was one of the best experiences during my cycling trip along the Elbe cycle route. First class staff, great room decoration, plenty of choice at breakfast, great menu in the restaurant, wonderful spa and just breathtaking views of the city. I recommend it for both a day trip and a long term stay in Meissen

Fabulous breakfast, in a lovely restaurant on a terrace facing the river and the castle. Really good position, 10 min walking distance from the old town city centre, but in a quiet zone.

The room was in a part of the hotel detached from the main hotel. It was quite spacious but had no air conditioning. Furniture quite old.

Beautiful hotel located by the river with amazing view on the castle. The hotel room was very spacious and the bed was comfy. Our daughter (10 months old) also liked her bed. We have enjoyed the dinner and breakfast in a restaurant with conservatory. The food was delicious. The service - super friendly, helpful and professional. We have felt very welcome and our stay was enjoyable :) thank you.

Everything was wonderful. The restaurant was simply superb - for the wait staff, the dinner and the breakfast. The hotel staff were super professional, warm and friendly. Have absolutely no complaints. The place is a delight. Wish we stayed there longer. Kids loved it, and they loved the kids.

Great location, friendly English-speaking staff. The room was huge and comfortable and clean. Breakfast was OK. Overall, it's a pretty decent place. Unfortunately, I had no opportunity to check out the spa. But as a hotel can definitely recommend

Furniture is a bit old-fashioned

Very comfortable room, good airco, good bathroom. Parking for free in adjacent street. Breakfast is good. Great wellness area and amazing view of Meissen across the Elbe.

On request bathrobes for wellness went up to only XXL. However, staff acknowledged that for future guests this should be made available. Hope to hear this happens.

I would prefer breakfast be included in the price. Also garage should be cheaper or free, as there are free options in the area

was allocated a room next to the lift which was noisy. also would have hoped for a room with better view given it was our wedding anniversary

Room was comfortable with all the facilities one needs - even a dressing gown. Dinner was delicious and very good value. you eat in a conservatory overlooking the River Elbe and they have a patio by the river where we sat to watch the sun set. Staff extremely kind.
