The hotel and restaurant located nearby are located very close to the Schliesheim castle, a nice baroque castle that can be visited. The rooms had all modern facilities representing a successful transformation of a 19-th century house. Our room had a nice balcony that offered us a fine view of the street. The beds were comfortable and the restaurant of the hotel offers good food. The breakfast included in the room rate was varied and offered different types of food, from sweets to bacon and eggs.

Sandra at the front desk was great. Very helpful. Breakfast was awesome. And I had few dinners at the restaurant which were really good as well. The hotel room was good for my needs and is in quite neighborhood.

The restaurant staff was not very attentive. Im not sure if it was because I was party or one or a foreigner. I knew during booking that the hotel is a bit far from Munich, if you don't have a car I would say always add and hour each way using public transportation and €10.

It was a very comfortable and cozy place. It was very unique culture experience and it was very big and clean. We came a little late after the check in time but they were very kind and gave us a better room than what we had asked. We really enjoyed our stay!

The directions were a little confusing about our arrival, especially because we booked it last minute we didn’t know about the check in time. Also, because we didn’t know any German it was a little confusing to figure out where to go and how to find our room. Thankfully they were patient and willing to help us.

The room was decorated in an 80's style with quite basic furniture, but the bedroom was spacious enough and comfortable. The facilities such as the pool was quite nice, and it was rarely used so I got it all to myself. Staff was very helpful and attentive.

The breakfast ended quite early for a holiday stay at 9:30, so as I slept in one morning I missed breakfast. The pool also closed at 9pm so there s not always enough time to go out exploring have dinner and come back enough for a swim

So, there is the Hotel Kurfürst, a proper normal hotel, and the adjacent Chalet. The chalet buildings look like mews-type outbuildings of a large residence and contain bedrooms only. mine was a single en-suite and compact, but not claustrophobic. breakfast was in the hotel and was good, plentiful with nice outdoor seating available. Staff was friendly and efficient. Haven’t used other facilities like the pool, but I did walk around the adjacent park which is lovely. wifi was good.

the location won’t suit everyone, if on public transport you have busses linking the hotel to metro stations east and west. they come every 20 minutes unless late. the bus stop is only a few minutes walk from the chalet.

Ample and high quality buffet breakfast on china plates and cups--great coffee, hot chocolate, lattes, vitamin juice. Eco-friendly wafer cups for 5 choices of jam, glass containers for yogurt and fruit, yet with takeout option for yogurt on-the-go. Crisp rolls and chocolate drizzled croissants. Scrambled eggs and different sausage everyday. Too much to list here! Linens and towels in rooms were high quality and fresh. The bathroom was newly remodeled. There were ducks outside our window. Very quiet setting with the palace grounds being our immediate neighbor! Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, even with our elementary German language skills. Many nice touches like QR codes on brochures of things to do in the area and bicycles available for rent (including electric). Jogging maps! The Chalet has a lovely pool and sauna--with a day-before reservation requirement and maximum of five people at one time. Both evenings, most times, we had the place to ourselves!

Upon arrival, we had to ask where we could park. There are many spots for parking, but the hotel needs signs that say "If you are a hotel guest, please park here" so there are no worries upon arrival. Alternatively, the Chalet could put a parking map online to provide this information.

It's simply heaven. Beautiful neighborhood, calm, clean and relaxing. The staff is super friendly. The hotel is extremely clean. Food quality at breakfast is superb. Close to the bus station that leads you to the S1 train station. The location is in the middle between Munich Airport and the downtown. I will definitely come again.

Nothing. Although the location is far from downtown, yet it's easy to reach it and to enjoy the nature and relaxation there.

Very nice place to stay, easy to find, free large parking area and lovely staff. Our room was perfect, we love the little hallway with table and booth seats, park view, very comfortable and quiet. Bavarian style, restorant is fantastic, very good breakfast and all that for reasonable price. Definitely will visit again !

It would be nice to have a kettle and coffee in the room

The hotel is located about 20 minutes from the airport, in a quiet neighborhood, next to Schloss Schleißheim and near an area of forest and green fields. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The hotel has a small pool, and the possibility to rent bicycles for a trip, which we gladly took advantage of. The staff were pleasant and eager to help.

The pool was great. Had to make an appointment (COVID) but appointments weren’t hard to get and then we had the whole pool and sauna to ourselves. The restaurant on-site was very, very good. Service was exceptional (prices were high, but environment was nice). Breakfast included was a big bonus. Staff was great. Beautiful park and woods nearby. Overall I would recommend this hotel as it was great value for money.

We were a family with young kids traveling together and had two rooms booked. Rooms ended up in different buildings, which was inconvenient. Pillows were deceivingly puffy! The safe in our room didn’t work. (Would still recommend the place :)
