lovely character building in a beautiful location on the lake/river front. Room was nicely renovated and bed was very comfortable. Small but functional bathroom. Fantastic breakfast with an excellent variety of food. We were there on a Saturday night and they held a BBQ in the garden which was all you could eat salads, meats, sausages, fish, breads etc. Very friendly helpful staff who even had insect repellent and citronella candles at the ready if needed.

The road to the property was interesting, we doubted the satnav’s instructions to go down a very narrow bumpy road but no, it was correct. The parking was on a rough piece of ground next to the hotel which wasn’t a problem until we tried to get out when we were blocked in but luckily someone moved out so all good. This is more by way of a warning of what to expect rather than a complaint.

Wonderful place in the middle of nature, surrounded by forest and a river occupied by many birds of dozens species. Various and very tasty breakfast, lovely arranged garden on a river bank, quiet pub inside the building. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, you have everything you need there. I'm travelling a lot all over the world but I can't remember any other place of such a nice standard, I will be coming back there ...

The staff was lovely and the view from the breakfast room was stunning! I had a great vegetarian dinner despite arriving late for my check in. Overall, my stay was brief, but lovely.

There was no warm water in the shower both in the evening and in the morning when I wanted to shower. I didn't mind that much and I only mentioned it to the staff while checking out, so maybe they would have been able to do something about it sooner.

We had dinner and breakfast and they were both delightful. Staff were really friendly and some even spoke English. Our room had a lovely view down to the river.

Whilst having a drink down by the river there were lots of mosquitoes but that couldn't be helped and the owners cannot be held responsible for this. We had a great time there.

This hotel was recommended by a local business. I would recommend to anyone as well. It is the perfect location for a quiet weekend. Nice location on the river, easy drive from Berlin and yet away from it all. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. And spoke English very well. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Amazing value.

I can't think of anything. The last km is on an unpaved road, but easy access with a small rental car. It adds to the charm.

beautiful location, amazing bird life and hikes around. Canoes available for rent. Dog friendly but my favorite of all was the amazing breakfasts and friendly staff. will be back 👍🌻

This is the coziest place to stay ever! The room was perfect, householders were so nice and sweet, dinner and breakfast were amazing, extremely delicious. We are really grateful for such a warm welcome ❤️
