It was great to have a separate living room/seating area plus a small kitchen. It made it easier to relax and easy to have breakfast in our room instead of having to eat out for literally every meal. We traveled with our small dog, and the staff was super friendly to her. Our bed was really comfortable, which for us means it was soft, so if you prefer really firm beds you might not like this one. The location was good, just a minute to the promenade, and there were lots of restaurants within a few minutes. There's a little tourist train that goes through town, and it's free with the tourist tax you have to pay at hotels, so that was really helpful. Overall this was a decent hotel.

The room is a bit dated, though we could tell that from the photos when we were booking it. The shower nozzle wouldn't stay up, unless you positioned the hose in just the right spot, so that was annoying. Even just upgrading the shower nozzles to something nicer would be a great improvement. Also, if you're booking one of the rooms with a kitchen because you want to cook, note that there isn't any cooking oil, salt, or pepper, so you'll have to bring your own or buy it at the grocery store when you arrive. It also would've been nice to have a water bowl for the dog, especially since there's a big pet store minutes from the hotel.

- The room is clean. There's a problem with a window in one of the sleeping rooms. It's very difficult to close once it's open. Perhaps needs better maintenance. - The breakfast box on our leaving day could be better.

Breakfast - if you offer breakfast until 11:30 you should make sure that it is filled up until 11:30. We came at 10:15 and there were no eggs or orange juice left, the scrambled eggs were almost empty, only one piece of salmon left and an empty cheese plate...quite disappointing start into the holiday.

The restaurant on site was wonderful. We had dinner booked for one evening at Maxime's. The staff and food were excellent. The location was wonderful! We were in the Strandhouse away from the main hotel. We could easily get to the beach and strand. There was no shortage of restaurants in our vicinity. The daily breakfast was wonderful. I am GF, and was able to have a variety of things to choose from. We had a strandcorb on our deck along with a loveseat and two chairs and a table. It was lovely to sit outside in the morning and evening.

The room was not as clean as I would have liked. The carpet was older and foot paths were etched into it. The wall paper had marks on it and there were pictures missing from the walls. The bathroom had mold on the shower.

Great Apartment but needs some repair. The staff (Andreas) was excellent. Great Breakfast!

the long wait to check-in, receptionist was harassed and as a result came across as unfriendly. I think they are not used to " international" travellers- that or they just friendlier to Germans
