The Park Inn 🏨. The staff we’re very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean and well presented. The breakfast was excellent, other than the ☕️ coffee which I found a little bitter, so please look at this! The restaurant was closed they stayed for a wedding function, didn’t see it so it must have been a quiet one😂 There we’re a few restaurants in the town which ran along side the canal. For me I can’t see why people people would stay in Papenburg there’s nothing there unless you booked a cruise 🚢 the next day, and you can visit the ship yard! location for visiting the Nordsee would only serve has a stop over. overall it is a very good hotel and seems to have quite a few guests, cycling the Germans love it!

- Good location, easy to access by car. - Nice looking surroundings - Good sized room - Clean and fresh. - Fairly silent even Friday night. - Nice looking Sauna/Spa area. - Possibility to use proper gym some kilometers from hotel! - Very good breakfast.

- Bed had only one pillow and that one was bit uncomfortable - No separate AC - Parking space was completely full. But it was possible to leave the car in front of the hotel.

Everything, superb, especially nice, polite and helpfull service. Perfectly sattled, 2 minutes and you are out of the city. But hotel is in the city center:)

Two things... 1) My room 222, when window was not open, when I was out, after come back you can feel bed smell. 2) I have spent there 10 days. Every day the same breakfast. At last day, with pleasure I have eaten MCDonalds :) Food was delicious but at the end boring...

Most important for me is always a good bed, a good shower and a good breakfast. This was all applicable. Plenty of choice for breakfast and on Saturday it was also possible to have dinner. Location perfect and in walking distance of the railway station.

Comfortable modern room. Large an comfy beds. Good cleanliness. Sufficiently big bathroom with good ventilation. Fast and reliable Wifi. Coffeemaker in the room. Free ample and secure parking. Welcoming staff. Nicely situated on canal. Quiet situation. Well garnished breakfast buffet.

The food in the restaurant was of good quality. Especially in a port town, the selection of fish dishes could be wider and more elaborate. Excellent seafood restaurant on the other side of the canal.

Park Inn has a very relaxed, friendly, welcoming vibe. The location is great for arriving/departing by train and is also an easy walk into the city centre. I also enjoyed the breakfast each morning.

No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Advised to eat evening meal elsewhere due to shortness of staff.

Breakfast is absolutely outstanding: huge choice, excellent quality and very friendly staff. Rooms are clean and quiet and well equipped. There is free tea/coffee available at all times, which is a real plus.

For my liking, the pillows were too high but that's a personal preference and I routinely travel with my own pillow because I like my pillows flat. So this is not something that is better elsewhere; I usually need my own pillow.

Room was great. Third floor. Balcony. Great view. Everything worked as it should. Staff were multi lingual. Special thanks to Julien the bar manager who is a great asset to the hotel.

Hotel located at walking distant from the city centre. Comfortable room, with air conditioning. Good breakfast, with plenty of choice. Free parking.

The beds are poor, too soft and sagging in the middle.
