All of the staff were excellent - cheerful and courteous - especially the two receptionists on duty during our stay. The room was generally comfortable and warm with an excellent shower room and toilet facilities. The decor and furniture in the public areas was tasteful and of good quality. The hotel is in a prime position for a stay in Schwäbisch Hall.

The WiFi on the third floor was not very good - intermittent and weak. Breakfasts were good. Their strength is omelettes and these were excellent. A good choice of breads but cheese and cooked meats were very limited - brought out on a serving dish as opposed to help yourself. Some local/regional choices would have been a nice option - we can only base it on other four star hotels we have stayed in and we would have preferred some more hot options (bacon, sausages perhaps) and normally there would be some smoked salmon.

Wonderful location, right on the market square, the historic heart of the city. The room in the old historic part of the hotel was stunning, spacious and beautifully furnished. Very good breakfasts and hotel carpark nearby.

We had the misfortune to witness an all in abusive shouting match between the manager and a staff member. Other guests were there too and everyone was made very uncomfortable, this should never happen in front of guests. Other than that, we found the staff very good, especially the night desk staff.

The breakfast was excellent, the location was perfect, and the room was a good size for a single bed. I have stayed here in the past and will stay here again in the future as I like the hotel and Schwäbisch Hall.

It was very hot last weekend in Schwäbisch Hall. It would have helped if the room had a fan. I asked, but none were available. Therefore, it was extremely uncomfortable in the room. I needed to keep my curtains closed because my room was located on the corner near the street and the street lights were very bright shining into my room. It made the room even hotter without air flow. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

Great location for visiting the Christmas market - 20 feet away! Covered parking was available across the street. It was nice to come out in a snow storm and not have to clean the car off. Our room was clean and comfortable and an elevator to use between floors. Once we got service, our breakfast was very good.

We waited for over 10 minutes to be greeted at the restaurant for dinner and finally started to walk out when someone appeared. By then, we just left. At breakfast, it was rather confusing and slow service again. We did get served after a while, and we were the only people in there! They need to work on their attention to customer service! The front desk at check in was great!

We were given a suite (unexpected). The hotel was just up the street from the center of town, where all the action was (a local festival was going on). Inclusive breakfast was wonderful.

Our room was not in the main part of the hotel and not accessible by elevator. We were not assisted with our luggage. The parking lot was up the hill from the hotel as well.

The room was large and comfortable. The location and village are picture perfect. The restaurant has an amazing vegetarian and vegan menu, in addition to a regular menu. The next level for plant based eating! The summer stage is wonderful in the evening after exploring the area by foot or bicycle. We would love to return.

Parking is first come, first served. After a long drive it was a tiny disappointment. The breakfast buffet was fine, but didn’t offer us any cappuccino or cooked eggs, except soft boiled.

The reception area and the room was a bit dark for my liking. Parking is across the street, payable for a fee.

Great location, walking distance to the town centre. The room was spacious enough, with a nice view of the church and the shower has a pleasant rain water head. Good comfortable mattress as well. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, very well presented and served in beautiful rooms. Very attentive staff too, thank you!

The breakfast was excellent, and also very elegant. The service was friendly and attentive.

We had a room with a superb view of the Church next door - a really great bonus. However at 06:30 the next morning, when the church bells were clanging, I was less enthusiastic.. not a big problem, and quite funny really, and beyond the control of the hotel.

This was my second stay and it again exceeded all expectations. Wonderful experience from start to finish. Beautiful space and most amazing location. I also strongly recommend the restaurant for dinner. A true culinary experience.
