Great Room the first day giving direct view on the castle - the staff

the suite..., yes we tested the 2nd day for 300EUR the suite - not really worth the money at all, in fact situated in the roof construction with smaller windows, no balcony no terrasse, limited view..not worth the money... The Breakfast is modest, looks rather std 3star buffet hotel, close to no fruits, limited space where it is served so gets crowdy esily... The hotel has no restaurant and those nearby and recommended are frankly speaking pretty bad. The Bar should at least have a Menu bar throughout the day and the evening to serve a small menu ..worth thinking to introduce..?

1) Impeccably central location bang in front of the iconic Hohenzollern Castle at the banks of Danube. 2) Many good restaurants and a shopping mall in walking distance. 3) Excellently furnished and spacious rooms, very good sauna and Fitness rooms. 4) Bed and a water bowl for the dog!

Upon asking whether dogs are allowed in the breakfast area, the lady at the reception said "no", so we left our dog unwillingly in our room. But we discovered that there was a separate area - namely at the bar just outside the breakfast area, where the guests with dogs could have their breakfast. Secondly, the room didn't have a watercooker and a refrigerator.

Loved the position, the view is amazing, and the building. The parking is in front of the hotel and feels safe, also for a motorbike. The rooms are nice, comfortable, and clean.

For a 4-star hotel, I think more attention should be paid to breakfast. Firstly, it is necessary to give some more plant-based options. Bread and marmalade, veggies, and some cold cereals are just insufficient and definitively not balanced from a nutritional point of view. Particularly considering that I texted in advance about my dietary requirements. Secondly, eventual allergens present in the food should be signaled for those intolerant or alergic to nuts (the only plant-based milk I could see was nut-based), milk, etc. Frankly, I had richer and more varied breakfasts in gasthouses (where I paid half the price, btw).

Great location across the Danube and Schloss Sigmaringen. Friendly staff, nice room, excellent breakfast. Secure parking for bicycles and a good restaurant within close walking distance. Also nice patio with the hotel bar.

I like to sleep cold and wasn't able to turn on the AC for whatever reason.

This is nothing less than a perfect place to stay. The requests I had upon reservation were answered right away. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. And then, whether it be the views, the room and the systems in it or the breakfast, all is perfect. This was one of the rare times when we just did not want to leave the room.

This was a total pleasant surprise for my trip. We were diving from Bavaria up to Schwarzwald and stopped here for one night. The view of the castle and the lake blew me away. The next morning we had breakfast directly on the lawn facing the castle while the kids ran around with the view, it was so relaxing and amazing! The staff was super friendly and went their way to accommodate our needs, I cannot stress this enough. Location was excellent and although there is no restaurant in the hotel, there's plenty of choices with walking distance to the hotel, closest being just 200m away so that didn't bother us at all.

It's not related to the hotel. somehow there is no autobahn connection directly to the hotel so we had to take a lot of local one-lane roads. The view was nice on these roads too but it takes longer during traffic hours.

Fantastic location next to Holenzolleren Schloss. Easy parking and a clean modern room. This was a pleasure trip for me but I also often travel in Germany for business. I like the fact that breakfast started at 6:30am to support the business travelers, but also went very late to support those on a more relaxed schedule.

Big, clean, nice rooms. We got both suites facing the castle along the river. Really nice hotel. Excellent for a stopover night. Table reserved for us for breakfast without asking. Never got that detail in any hotel at any price. Outstanding.

The city is not a tourist spot. Nice castle (at least from the outside) and great hotel, but nothing else to do.

This was a last minute booking. Lovely location with stunning view of the Schloss and by the river. very good sized room. clean. comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom & shower. very good breakfast. Hotel restaurant 5 mins stroll for lunch I’d evening. Lots of relaxing areas. Most definitely a return trip required. Staff friendly & helpful.

Overcharged at restaurant think this was an honest mistake. Still awaiting my revised invoice. Could do with chairs in the bedroom. Minor inconveniences.

Probably one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in this price range and certainly the best value for money out of 6 hotels that we visited during our trip this season. The hotel is new and modern, everything is clean, fresh and high quality. As it was low season, we enjoyed a quiet, comfortable room, great breakfast, a nice, new sauna, and a comfy bed. It’s all in the little details: eggs done perfectly for breakfast, great view of the castle, high quality bathrobes for sauna, smart tv so you can Netflix at night, free parking (with charging for EVs), great restaurant nearby for dinner.

The experience might be different in high season as the sauna and the gym are not that big. The room was also a bit on the smaller side for a 4* hotel, a bit dense without much space for luggage. We also felt the hotel over complicated things because of covid, e.g. no buffet, we had to order breakfast a day in advance (cost/waste optimisation).
