The property was very quiet and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful, that was a real perfect stay here in this great Bodensee area.

Comfortable room, spacious, quiet.

Room was advertised to include ‘balcony’ in the title as well as the small print. Did not look anything like the pictures in my booking. No balcony but rather a scenic view of the garbage receptacles. No response to message requesting information prior to visiting. Not very friendly reception.

Unfortunately in the room above room no 63 were people (I think family) and the children run around in the room and the ceiling which is very thin did not amortize any noise. Very uncomfortable for us in the room nr 63. I think families with noisy children should not be placed in the upper floor. The parking was full we had to place the car by a distance to the hotel.

The staff was all in all friendly. The lady at the front desk was nice when we arrived and so was the staff at the restaurant. The bathroom was big (in comparism to the rest of the room). Breakfast was basic- nothing special, no nice twist or sth personal and the bread could have been fresh- but all in all ok. Lucky me was allowed to enjoy the breakfast on the first day with an amazing view on a quite political car sticker on the staffs parking lot... What a view! It is not far from the lake, but you need to drive there.

Our room had a very ugly smell that was definitely not from the guest before or something that would quickly go away, but from building materials or so. We were told we weren’t able to switch rooms because the hotel was fully booked (it was the second night, but definitely not the first night!). You never ever rent a room like this or tell there never was any odor if you have a slight sense of compassion for your guests! We didn’t get rid of it during the three days and everytime we went “back home”, we opened the door and waited outside for a while to let the first batch pass. The room itself was tucked, dark and very tiny, while the bathroom was huge. We did not get that concept. We had a room booked for another couple. It was dated, but more spacious with ceilings in a decent hight (not like our mole cave) and without the smell. The price for our specific room with a not-yay-but-okay-breakfast is way too high, ignorant and frankly insolent.
