This was my second visit to Weimar and my second stay at Hotel Amalienhof. I last stayed there from January 3rd-7th 2018 and I had such a wonderful time in Weimar then that I promised myself that I would return one day and alas, I returned to Weimar and once again stayed in a place that I know and like so well, Hotel Amalienhof.

I have nothing negative to report about Hotel Amalienhof or the very kind and hard working staff. I have stayed in Hotels in the past that have caused me a little stress but such concerns did not transpire at Hotel Amalienhof during a very enjoyable New Year's Trip in Germany.

Everything was perfect. The room was exceptional, being large, clean and well appointed (not many stairs.!). Very comfortable beds, an excellent buffet breakfast and decent/secure onsite parking at a reasonable rate. Location is close to the centre of town and the Christmas Markets.

Nothing really.... All OK.

I liked the excellent location in close proximity to all the cultural attractions as well as the restaurants and shops. All of the staff were very helpful and kind. It is rare now that you would be shown to your room but this is the kind of high level service you get there.

There was nothing I did not like.

The location is very convenient, practically in the centre and at a bus stop. The Appartement was very clean and quite comfortable. Although we were warned that the bathroom might be small, we found it to be reasonably sized. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very kind.

As the property description clearly states, there is no elevator, so you have to cope with stairs. The Internet kept breaking up all the time - cannot be relied upon.

The hotel was well situated for walking access into Weimar. There was plenty of choice for breakfast in the well appointed breakfast room. The appartement was well equipped and comfortable.

Simply terrific. Very helpful and resourceful staff. We booked a room in the old section which has its original historic style - the interiors are something to behold! Parking space was waiting for us upon arrival and it was no problem to keep the car there for a few hours after checkout.

a mini apartment with everything you need inside, even to cook simple meals. above average breakfast comparing to similar grade hotels.

my apartment faced the parking lot, but it was very quiet and privacy did not become an issue. the room also has good curtains. breakfast could have included more options for vegans. also they ran out of croissants by the time I arrived for breakfast at 9:30. it would be nice to keep the bread basket restocked until the end of breakfast time at 10:30.

The location is almost in the city center, and the breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent

Cleaning staff knocked of the door may times, they should be told when the guests are expected to leave, so they don’t have to offer cleaning hours before leaving

I really liked that the single room was spacious - the breakfast was amazing and staff was very friendly. Highlight of the hotel is the roof terrace.

Charge for parking and chairs at roof terrace were uncomfortable

Perfectly situated near the city center the hotel has all the facilities neaded. The staff is exceptionally friendly.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.
