this is the best place we have ever been. this is the place - where you will understand - what real rest is. it cannot be compared with anything - it is exclusive. it is the first place in the world to which you want to return. the food is incredibly high-quality and tasty. all vacationers have free space. the beach and the view are the best we have come across. in reality it is still better than in the photo (which is a rarity, because in Greece everything is the opposite). a place with a soul and an incredible attitude towards vacationers.

Very spacious villa. Very clean and absolute quite - perfect to relax an unwind. Excellent breakfast, dinner and service. The pool was also very good. The view of the beach and the beach itself were perfect. Perfect for an excellent walk along the beach. So peaceful and quiet. Highly recommended if one wants to get away from it all. Nights were so dark that I had forgotten how many stars can be seen at night.

Fantastic hotel setting overlooking Zorgos beach and the valley. Beautiful breakfast and dinning area. Lovely and well kept swimming pool area. Entire accomodation setting provides ultimate intimacy and comfort. Plenty of space to chill over a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Very good restaurant with short but interesting menu. Part of the menu changed daily so we could keep comingh back every odd night. Host and the team totally supportive and always ready with an advice and with plenty of stories about the area. Hotel is also set directly in the middle of hiking paths - the one to pirate caves is must to do!

Absolutely everything was spot on!

The facilities, the pool area and the restaurant are absolutely beautiful. It’s incredibly quiet and peaceful, and the staff are on hand to cater for anything you may need. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing!

The location is out of the way from everything on the island which was perfect for us. It’s about a 25-30 minute drive to the nearest small town. Even though this means you are guaranteed peace and quiet, it might catch you by surprise if that’s not what you’re after. There is also about 10 minutes of a narrow dirt road on the way to/from the hotel so avoid big cars.

What can I say, this place is a paradise! The location is a little out of the way so if you're looking for a quiet and serene escape amongst the exceptional landscapes of Andros, near the nicest beach on the island, then you simply can't do better. The staff was perhaps some of the nicest and accommodating hospitality workers I've ever interacted with! Not only were they always available with information, suggestions, and assistance, they also went out of their way to make sure our group of 5 had the best experience! If you want to have more freedom of movement, I suggest you rent a car. The staff got us in touch with a really good agency!

Overall it was much more than we expected. Our fears of being in a remote location were turned into enthusiasm and anticipation to return to the hotel and indulge into endless relaxation and peace, after a long day of exploring the island. The beach Zorkos, accessible either by car or by 182 steps (counted meticulously by my godaughter), is one of the wildest, cleanest and most beautiful that the island has to offer. You can actually remain in the premises or at Zorkos beach, every day of your stay, it's just that we wanted to explore other parts of the Andros as well. The owners Akylas, Ionas and Filipos were more than welcoming, and accommodated every single of our needs. We got a free upgrade to a gorgeous villa that was aesthetically perfect and so spacious that we could host a big party.! We felt sad we had to leave this place and we are wishing to get back soon!

Some improvement needed at room cleaningness although we do appreciate the fact that meltemia (intense August winds) can really bring in much dust and dirt. Food (breakfast and dinner) lacked enthusiasm, flair and creativity. One would expect smth more up to standards with the whole upscale aesthetics, design and service quality. Marina who was serving, went out of her way more than once to cater for our needs.

Everything was perfect. The resort was very special, with great "green" architecture, that grows in harmony with the surrounding nature. Lots of traditional stone structures, olive trees and aromatic bushes around the gardens. A natural amphitheater with large infinity pool and the best beach of the island (Zorkos) at your feet. The location is magical, perfect sunrises, isolation in independent villas of the resort, but also a warm and friendly atmosphere between strangers guests during breakfast or dinners. The friendly owners and staff of the resort, helps for serenity and good mood from everybody. Everything was made easy for us and we got a lot of help and suggestions for our visits around the island. Delicious food from the restaurant. We will definitely come again!!

This was a majestic resort that encompasses all the elements of a masterpiece. It’s location unparalleled, overlooking a mountain and a perfect beach that is a 2’ min walk . The resort itself is an architectural feast for the eyes, each house big or small like an ancient palace An infinity pool that stands proud while the plush green of the mountain gives off euphoric energy Olive trees in abundance, this is a place where you can lose yourself in time.. The owner, who is a world renowned surgeon and his 2 sons that help run in it are not only hospitable that is a small word , they share in their father’s philosophy that made the dream of a resort come to fruition and that is for the guest to enjoy a slice in time that offers them all the most important elements for an amazing time. Whether it’s meditation , celebration of an occasion , spending time your family or your partner , this place has it all and it’s people are undoubtedly laborers of love

This is a special place. Once you arrive (the road is on the edge of a cliff and it’s bumpy, so something to keep in mind if you’re afraid of heights) you don’t want to leave! Stunningly beautiful views, friendly and helpful staff. The incredible pool looks straight out of a magazine and was clean and the perfect temperature. Gazing at the mountains from the pool is heaven. The beach (down about 180 stairs, but worth it) is among the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen, with glass-like water and surrounded by mountains — drinks service too. And a snack bar. The food at the resort was ridiculously delicious, from the breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs and feta to the dinner with calamari stew and honey cake. Good strong coffee too. It’s not a typical resort — it’s a unique, relaxing place that’s a once in a lifetime experience. Go!

I was scared on the drive to the resort because part of the road is on a cliff!

Really genuine & accommodating hosts who gave a heart-felt welcome. Fabulous pool & pool area with loungers & brollies & a great shelter with double sun beds which were particularly comfy. Comfortable beds ( once we removed the plastic, sweat-inducing mattress protector). Sofa beds were comfy too. Lovely private patio area. Close to Zorgos beach which we enjoyed without kids. Quiet & unspoilt feeling. (Quite a steep sloping shingle beach so not ideal for kids. ) They were more than happy with pool though! Enjoyed the non-chlorinated water- no stinging eyes! Lovely well-marked walk along coast to impressive caves & for wildlife watching. All in all a fantastic, classy resort in a quiet corner or Andros.

A better equipped kitchen would be useful with basics like salt & pepper & maybe even some oil provided, & a must… bottle opener:-) We didn’t cook but may need a few more utensils/ pans & serving dishes to enable that. Also, being really picky- the quality of the breakfast ingredients could be better- the juices for example would be nice fresh as opposed from concentrate. That would fit better with the quality of the rest of the facilities / setting. None of this was a big problem. Just suggestions to make a great place even better!
