The staff was so friendly and made the stay memorable. The location was quite good as well - within walking distance to acropolis, Syntagma etc. and breakfast selection was with a nice variety incl. lactose free options.

Even though we were upgraded to get a better view of the acropolis, then the room had some tear. The big flush and the bucket was broken in the bathroom. we noticed the staff but it was not fixed before check out. This is the only negative thing to mention since it has a higher star rating, you would expect the room standard to match.

The shower and toilets were like 2 boxes and since there was no ventilation in either , the shower had an odor and towels stayed damp. If you use the shower head the shower stall will flood and the floor of the room will get wet. Would have liked a hook for the hand towel. The room we booked ( the basic one) was very small. It couldn't accommodate 2 open suitcases on the floor so we had to keep them upright and open and close as needed. Upgrade if you can

I have stayed in a few hotels around Europe but very few have impressed me so much like this hotel. Staff members were absolutely wonderful and incredibly helpful to get us to the Acropolis and fulfill all our needs. Our rooms were modern, clean and perfect for a two-day stay in Athens. Breakfast was amazing and we definitely recommend ordering a pizza and eating it on the rooftop. Here you will find an incredible view of the Acropolis. My favorite part is however the Free Travel Assistant every guest will find in their room, which was a phone that provided us with unlimited 4G internet. You can take this phone with you while you are on the streets of Athens. We definitely used the phone for google maps, as we were normally very reliant on WIFI for our phones. Since our flight out of Athens was only the afternoon late, the hotel kept our luggage safe, and we were able to either go and relax on the rooftop or go and explore Athens a bit more. When we left, the hotel gave us a small gift to say thank you for the stay. Overall, we had an extremely positive experience, and we would recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Athens.

The service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, efficient and very helpful. A fresh, tasty, breakfast, a mix of Greek and English style food was included. Dinner, in the roof top garden was also very good, served by the ever effervescent Adonis, a lovely man.Try the feta cheese pie, baked in filo pastry, sprinkled with sesame seeds and drizzled with Greek honey, The view from the garden was spectacular, watching the sunset over the horizon before our attention was moved to the illuminated Acropolis, up on the hill. The location of this beautifully serviced hotel is very good, within walking distance of most of Athens' historic icons. Lest you think our stay was all roses, we did experience one problem, our A/C went out for one night..We reported it around 6.00pm. An engineer arrived very quickly, while we went up to the roof garden, to enjoy the sunset etc, eat a superb dinner and drink a bottle of Greek wine. Towards the end of our meal, we were informed that the engineer had not managed to effect the repair but would return the next morning armed with the appropriate new part. We were not looking forward to spending the night in our hot room ( the hotel was full, so no chance of a change). Imagine our surprise when we walked back into our room, which the staff had managed to cool to a very acceptable 21c, by opening all the windows, after sundown and using two large fans to effectively replace the air. We slept like babies that night. B4B is not the biggest hotel in Athens, nor does it have the most facilities, but I defy anybody to find a hotel that cares for it's guests, with such honesty and enthusiasm the way that they do.

We only stayed for four days!

This small hotel was perfect for our stay in Athens. It was well positioned about a 6-10 minute walk ( a little uphill) to great eating spots near the Acropolis museum and you could walk everywhere easily from the hotel. The ferry port was a quick 20 minute taxi trip on a Sunday morning and the airport was about 35 minutes away. A lovely breakfast was served each morning and in the evening the roof top bar with food and drinks was perfect for watching the sunset and the lights of the Acropolis come on. The rooms were compact but well set up with a coffee machine. An excellent shower, comfy beds and neat and clean. We will stay again in this gem next time we visit .

The room was fairly small with a "city" view which actually overlooked the main road and a church. The location was excellent for getting to the Acropolis area which is a few minutes walk away. In addition there is a tram from the hotel which goes to central Athens in a couple of stops. The room was well stocked with towels, toiletries and beverages which were restocked each day during cleaning. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of cold and hot choices of cereals, fruit, meats, eggs, vegetables, cold meats, cheeses, pastries, etc. The staff were helpful and pleasant at all times.

The staff are what makes this place exceptional. Very welcoming and accommodating, and extremely helpful. There was a mobile phone in the room (ours didn't work for some time but I'm sure if we needed they would have provided another) which we could take with us whilst out and about, and we could use it to navigate and make calls. The atrium itself is very inviting, and breakfast was good. I am vegan and they provided soya milk that I could have with cereal. The rooftop is lovely and usually quiet, and offers a really nice view, including of the Parthenon at Acropolis. The team kindly extended our stay for us without charge, and also booked our taxi for us when we were due to depart. The location is brilliant, walking distance to many of the main sights (including Acropolis). We would highly, highly, highly recommend this lovely B4B Signature Athens hotel!

Our room itself was a little small, and we're a little undecided of the bathroom sink which is within our bedroom, and individual cubicle for the toilet and separate cubicle for the shower itself.

This was an amazing hotel! The location was awesome , a 10 min walk from the Acropolis. The rooms were nice and comfortable with a great rooftop bar. The thing that made it special was the staff of the hotel. We arrived from the US at 6 am in the morning and we had a 3 pm check in. I had requested the hotel to see if we could check in early. They said they could not guarantee but would try their best. Lo and behold, we got two adjacent rooms around 8 am. This meant that we could freshen up from the long flight before we headed to the Acropolis as we had timed tix for 10 am. They also allowed us to store our luggage after check out as we had a few hours left before our ferry ride to Naxos. Last but not least we each got a small gift of olive oil to take back with us. Altogether we had an excellent time here. All of us absolutely loved it , if you are going to Athens just book this hotel with your eyes closed!

Everything was great. Breakfast was included and was awesome. My daughter is vegan so the only request I would have is to have some vegan options for breakfast including almond or oat milk available for coffee

The front desk staff were awesome and really went out of their way to help us with booking tours, restaurant recommendations, places to visit and just being really friendly each time we went out our in. The rooms were a little on the small size with a strange cubicle thing going on with the toilet and showers separated, though the shower was a good size. The view out of our window was over the city and if we looked to the side we could see a bit of the acropolis. However, the rooftop bar/restaurant was really nicely done and the view of the acropolis was great, especially at sunset with a cold beer after a hot day walking the city and touring the various sites. Breakfast was good, some cooked normal Western breakfast items along with a cold buffet and bread selection. We didn't have dinner at the hotel restaurant choosing to eat out, but it looked and smelled good while we were having our rooftop beer. Hotel staff were super fast at responding to questions before we arrived via the booking.com app. They booked an airport taxi pickup which was excellent. The taxi guy called while we were deplaning and asked us to let him know when we were walking out to the meeting point. Due to the fact that the arrival parking is 450m away he met us at the pick up place just outside the terminal door - much nicer than walking in the heat!

One of the reasons for picking the hotel was the fact that it had AC as the dates we were there was predicted to be hotter than normal. The room had AC as advertised, but as far as we could tell, didn't have any instructions and so after a quick trip to the front desk and some instructions kicked in and made a huge difference. We arrived back one afternoon (hot and sweaty) and the housekeeping had turned off the AC and then opened the window(!) so we needed to use our new found skills to get it working.😀
