The spacious room and shower. The delicious food. The Helpful staff. The modern facilities.

Acropolis view is not a view. We could see half of it. The bread was kind of expensive in the restaurant. The fact that we had to choose three ingredients for our bread/toast in the breakfast menu and the butter was considered as an ingredient.

The staff was fantastic; they were accommodating and friendly. The room is very spacious and well equipped. If you think you will be staying in the room most of your stay and not exploring much of Athens, I would recommend selecting a room with a view of the street to have natural light(i saw a comment complaining about the lack of light) for me it was not a problem. I like the design of the room. The breakfast was delicious. I would book in this hotel again during another visit to Athens.

Breakfast was excellent Alla Cart with lots of options you hardly need to eat lunch after such a feast. very pleasant and professional stuff. one day we went early on a cruise and they packed breakfast boxes for us. Very nice. the front office was very helpful with anything we asked for and the location was smack in the center of everything. Free coffee and 2 bottles of water every day in the room.

The room was classified as Deluxe standard but was small. You can deal with it however we stayed 5 nights and there were no drawers or closets to put our stuff in. We stayed packed in suitcases the entire stay There was NO MIRROR in the room only a short one in the bathroom. The shower had nice pressure but the open glass door was uncomfortable because all the space gets sprayed with water. We asked to change rooms and pay for an upgrade but the hotel was full.

This little hotel really is a gem. Perfect location within Athens’ “golden triangle” with almost all the main attractions easily walkable. The hotel is both stylish & comfortable with real luxury touches in the rooms. Little extras really count like the Nespresso machine in the room (pods replaced daily) and free bottles of water in the fridge. Daily room service is to a very high standard. All the staff were delightful & very friendly - both those on reception and those in the restaurant. Once you have mastered the breakfast algorithm you will find lots of variety and masses of food all cooked to order to set you up for the day. This is a fabulous hotel!

Absolutely nothing!

Clean, modern, receptionist and staff very pleasant and helpful, excellent customer service, nothing was any problem. Good local knowledge. Fabulous breakfast choice, definitely didn’t need lunch, freshly cooked options and ingredients.

Some late night music on one evening from a bar next door which may disturb you depending on bedroom location but this could have been because we were there on a carnival weekend. Didn’t disturb as having a good nights sleep. Off season restaurant not open in evening but plenty of restaurants around and receptionist recommended an excellent eatery 5 mins away.

We loved everything about this hotel. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to the Acropolis, Plaka, Syntagma Square and many other sites within 15-20 minutes. The staff handled all our requests-private car and guide, airport transfer, dinner reservations, etc.. A special recognition to Efi who helped me pre-arrange our tour and answered all my questions. The hotel room was spacious and very comfortable. The room was large, especially for a European hotel. Our bed and pillows felt amazing after long days exploring! The restaurant was very good and reasonably priced-we only had breakfast there but it was delicious. We highly recommend The Gem Society. You will not be disappointed and will love it!!

They 4 different women that man the front desk WERE ALL HELPFUL! The room was very spacious with a great shower. The real star of the show is the restaurant/bar. When I tell you the food and drinks are A+ I'm not kidding. I ate out at quite a few restaurants in the area( which this hotel is right in the middle of a spectacular shopping/bar area district) and the food here is better, not as good, BETTER!!!. I don't know what that old lady in the previous post was complaining about but if you plan a stay around visiting a bakery you have so deep issues going on, stay home lol. The Gem Society is truly a Gem in Athens!

Everyone and everything was perfect for 5 days.

The hotel is exceptionally beautiful, it is awesomely located. Major attractions were a 20 min walk away, or as little as 5 minutes. It is surrounded by restaurants and has a commercial area nearby. The most notable aspect was the food, breakfast is awesome. Instead of having a buffet, it was freshly prepared and served from a menu with various options. The rooms were very clean and tidy, with a beautiful and sober design.

On the third day, the bath was smelling very weirdly. This was possibly due to the water and sewage system in Athens, and thus I don’t blame them. It was the only negative small thing.

The location could not be better - it is in the heart of Athens, allowing easy access to all the best attractions. The staff at the hotel is truly beyond superb. They are attentive, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure their guests have a wonderful stay. Every staff member I encountered was professional and efficient. One aspect that really stood out during my stay was the focus on using natural cosmetics. The hotel uses organic beauty products, which I really appreciated.
