The hotel is in a central location - within a short distance of the best restaurants in town. It has a small private beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas right in front of the hotel. The rooms were very clean on arrival and then cleaned daily. The staff very friendly and helpful - especially Chris, who was always checking if we’re enjoying our stay and if we need anything. There’s a private parking free of charge two blocks away which was very useful!

The rooms were a bit small and there were no breakfast facilities on site.

The reservation was made for my parents and after their vacation ended, they explicitly told me to write an amazing review for this hotel and their stuff! They were impressed by what a 2* hotel can offer there, the stuff was really really friendly and tried to help them with whatever they needed (especially because they are not English/Greek speakers and it was a bit challenging for them to express their needs). They also told me that their room was cleaned daily, providing fresh new towels and bedsheets. The hotel is basically on the beach and it has a lot of tavernas/shops near it - a great option for whoever wants to have a perfect and cheap stay in Greece! Also, the sunbeds on the beach are free of charge for the hotel guests if you buy a drink (any drink). Special thanks from my parents (the couple from Romania, Galati)!!!

Modern rooms with small fridge and nice bathroom. Very clean because of good staff. Everyone is very polite and helpful. The beach is right in front of the hotel. If you choose the seaside it is a wonderful view.

Beds are a little bit soft. If you have bad luck, there might be smokers on every side of your balcony and the smoke might get inside your room through open balcony door. The beach belonging to the hotel might be a bit crowded. And it doesn't have a lot of space between the places. For using the sunbeds you should know, that you usually need to order at least one drink per person at the hotel bar.

The hotel was right on the beach and offered amazing views. The main street with all restaurants, bars, shops was on the other side of the hotel. The room was of good size and was exceptionally clean. You have to purchase a drink for at least 4eur per person to get a sunbed and parasol.

The parking is far away from the hotel (at least 200 m away), especially if you have a lot of luggage. It is forbidden to park on the street or even drive by the hotel, as it is a pedestrian street, so you have to drag all your stuff through the streets.

Great location just at the beach. Being on the main street at the centre of the city makes it noisy from the shops and bars. The staff was nice and was keeping all the facilities in great condition - the rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed.

The best location: Located on the beach! We had the room with street view and it was amazing to see how the street comes to life in the evening. Amazing street vibes! Friendly staff, very eager to help in any way they can! Big balcony! Cleaning services every day!

In the shower the water fluctuated very often mostly on 7-8 PM. The room is a bit small but we managed. The lights in the room are a bit low by our standards. The door on the balcony doesn't close from outside so if u want to have your AC running while you're on the balcony that's gone be a challenge!

The hotel is situated next to the beach, has a great view at the sea. The staff was wellcoming and polite. We could check out at an early hour.

There was nothing we did not like about Hotel Avra. But turists must be aware of the loud music and cooking smells coming from a taverna next to the hotel.

Very central, extremely close to the beach (could use the hotel room facilities rather than a cafe toilet). The hotel receptionist was very welcoming and helpful, and the cleaning staff was very sweet and effective (everything was clean always - no sand even though we went to beach daily!). The noise cancellation towards the street was impressive as well.

Everything was quiet and nice, but be aware that when the restaurant next door had “Greek nights” you could hear the bass and songs. Still, they didn’t keep going till late

The location and the receptionists were very professional and kind. The hotel should have more than 2 stars as it is listed. Will recommend to everyone and would visit again. There is also a lift for elderly people so they can easier access their floor.

Top location, right in front of the beach, next to restaurants, shops, bars. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nearby free dedicated parking. Extremely clean, sheets, towels are changed on a daily basis. Beach is right in front with a small free zone next to the hotel, and lots of bars with umbrellas and sunbeds. There are also free toys from the hotels for the kids to play in the sand.

It could be better if there is a small hanger for wet clothes on the balcony.
