A cozy hotel in a splendid village, with a great location to top it off. There’s a pleasant inner courtyard, which also has a pool. Two beaches are nearby, just a few minutes’ walk away. Numerous shops and restaurants are practically just steps from the accommodation. There’s also a private parking spot for the car, so no worries there. The staff were genuinely hospitable people during our stay. A smile was never missing, and it was sincere. The rooms, though simple, have practically everything you might need.

Although the beds were comfortable, their squeaking noise was very disturbing at night. I would recommend replacing them. Other than that, everything was as I expected.

Perfect position in the village. Supermarket and restaurants all close by. Every where spotlessly clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area was very clean and enough sun beds for all.

I think the only thing I would have liked is for our bed to be made up and general tidy up of the room each day. Bins were emptied every day though. Bed was changed mid week .That is the only thing but it is such good value for money ,I can’t really say it’s a “don’t like” just me not wanting to make my own bed 🤷‍♀️😂

I loved the location of the hotel. It's spotlessly clean, bright and cheerful. The staff are so helpful and friendly.

The swimming pool is a lovely clean pool, but it's not suitable for anyone with mobility issues , The only access is by a ladder, that is quite short and a person would need very good upper body strength to use the pool. It's a pity because the pool is lovely with plenty sunbed space and beautiful plants around the pool area.

Andreas, Eleftheria and Miri were so kind and helpful with anything we needed. Our hotel room was very clean and tidy and great value. Location was great and they had a private parking lot where we could park our car. AC worked well which was much needed in the heat. Really nice balcony with a comfortable lounge set.

Shower wasn’t mounted on the wall so it made it more difficult to shower/keep the water from going onto the floor.

The pool is excellent, not too busy and very clean. The location is also excellent 5 min walk to beach, tavernas and shops. You can get the bus from further up in town to Rethymno. The staff are lovely and accommodating and the breakfast we had was small but nice for 6 euro. Very good at responding to messages and accommodating when I had a travel mishap and arrived a day late. The room has everything you need and a little balcony good for reading and relaxing. It was clean and quiet.

The bed and pillows were a little uncomfortable and the curtains let in too much light in the morning.

Beautiful small Hotel with lovely pool , very private , balcony with pool view , perfect location for beach shops and restaurants etc .Local coach and bus pick up points just a minute away . Manager and staff very helpful nice and very friendly . This hotel is perfect for guests wanting a very peaceful relaxing stay .It is super value with lovely clean rooms with a fridge tv air con small cooker kettle and power points and even a small safe in room for valuables .Very nice breakfasts at reasonable price .

The hotel is located in Panormos, Rethymno province. It is a great place to explore the western part of the island from. Our room had a small terrace/ balcony which was convenient for drying the swimsuits and beach towels. The staff was amazing, very attentive and helpful!

Everything was good about the hotel, but there is not much to do in the village.

The Iliana Hotel was everything we could wish for a family vacation with 2 small kids. It has clean rooms, a nice pool in the courtyard, and very friendly staff. They helped us find great beaches around Crete, too. The breakfast was good, with fresh pastries every day, and when we had to leave the hotel very early in the morning on our last day for our flight, they brought us a breakfast tray the night before so we could eat it in our room! The village of Panormo is very quiet and has (at the time of our stay, June 2022) no loud bars or clubs, and the hotel was also quiet, which was great for us. The local beach is small but not crowded, and the water is great. The room also had a private terrace where we could sit in the evenings.

The shower with the curtain is a little small, and it was hard to get a shower without splashing water all over the bathroom, but it's not a big deal.

Spotlessly clean room and pool area. All staff and owner were very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Beds very comfortable. Close to shops, tavernas and some lovely restaurants.

Very clean, comfortable, spacious studio apartment. We normally self cater for breakfast, but signed up for hotel breakfast as it was such good value. The selection changed a bit each day, and was all lovely.
