Friendly staff, from the cleaning lady up to the waiters and the hosts! Amazing food. We had halfboard and were surprised at first that we didn't get any info, what are they preparing for the dinner but we soon got used to it, as the food was simply delicious and we were anxious every evening what we're gonna get tonight. Also because our daughter is suffering from several allergies, they prepared meals for her according to her needs at no extra cost. Small beach full of sea life ideal for snorkelling just across the street.

Rooms could be equipped with a basic set of cutlery if you decide to have a little snack or some fruit - more of a suggestion than a critique really.

Beautiful location. Nice pool. Nice bar area close to the pool which served very nice food and all the usual drinks. Plenty of sunbeds/umbrellas for everyone. Literally a few footsteps from the beach/sea. All the staff were so welcoming/accommodating/friendly/helpful and we couldn't have asked for nicer people.

The water pressure was dictated by a water pump so there were times we needed to stop mid-shower and go to reception to ask for the pump to be switched on.

Usually I dont spend time writing reviews, but this time I really was amazed by the hosts kindness. Even when our cab cancelled last minute our trip back to airport they managed to find a way to get us there (despite the only cab company being busy and not accepting request with less than 2 hours prior). Also because of the late flight they managed to switch our dinner that we missed and were very kind and understanding throughout our stay. I highly recommend the location for being very quiet, a place where you can trully relax, that we will happily return too.

We booked this Hotel originally for its proximity to the Town and Beach, outside of the main resort for peace and quiet yet only 10 mins walk to the Town. It had its own little private Beach. Sunbeds were plentiful both poolside and at the Beach. Meals and Drinks were very reasonably priced and excellent. Breakfast was continental and plentiful with a relaxed policy on times, (you didn't feel rushed if you came along late) and you always had a cheery good Morning from Renata. Meals were cooked by Georgios who would accomodate you with items that did not appear on the menu. The BBQ night was great value for money with plenty of meat being provided to your table. Nico managed the bookings and Hotel and was very accomodating and helpful. Staff were all very pleasant and friendly and created a very enjoyable atmosphere. Nationalities included, Danes,Germans,Italians,Irish and Uk guests,and there was a very friendly atmosphere around the Hotel. I had read some negative reviews but can only say that our experience and that of the people I spoke to at the Hotel had nothing but positive comments to make. We are frequent travellers and normally opt for Fully inclusive. We had one week in Turkey Fully inclusive and then travelled on to this Hotel with the intention of travelling around and eating out at different restaurants we found everything so good at Mammis that we decided to eat here everyday and Night. Great atmosphere. A very good spot to explore the island. There's always a parking spot available. We chosed the half board option and the dinner was always tasty, changing almost everyday. The staff is really nice and helpful. Good swimming pool, a nice beach just crossing the road with umbrellas.

It was too hot inside the rooms. The rooms have air conditioning but it was not enough

Renata is a gem! Nothing is too much trouble and she always has a smile and a lovely energy. The family are really friendly and helpful. The place is peaceful and relaxed. The breakfast was a good variety. We were really happy with our stay and how welcome we were made to feel. We took the half board option and the dinners were freshly home-cooked and obviously made with love. We highly recommend.

It is quite a walk into town so I would recommend hiring a bike or electric scooter. However, it is a beautiful walk along a beach road, but in the night can be dark in some patches.

The private beach was just over the road and there was always a choice of sun beds on the beach or by the pool. Rooms were spacious with balcony or terrace. The food was really good - half board was great value. There is no choice of dish but the chef was accommodating towards dietary requirements. The staff were all very helpful and went out of their way for us.

It’s not that easy to get into the main town. There is a regular bus service but not in the afternoon and it can get extremely busy coming back. Otherwise it’s a good 30 min walk.

If you are looking for the escape from the craziness and crowdedness of the cities, you are coming to the right place. This wonderful family hotel welcomes you as a new part of their family with an open heart. Renata, George and Niko will do everything what they see in your eyes from the first second you set foot into their hidden palm tree paradise! First you can enjoy your breakfast, with it's selection of eggs, ham, cheese, fresh fruit and vegetables with the spectacular view on the sea, which is only 50 steps away from your breakfast table. What a breathtaking view over the nearby mountains as well! First morning when you open the door from your balcony, there is this incredible sunrise, which you can watch every day, when you open your eyes. It really sets your mood up! You can choose to spend the day at the private beach with the sun beds, which is just in front of the house. There is only few of them, but you can be sure you will always find a spot for yourself, most likely you can enjoy some quiet time on the beach on your own, no people around! If you have enough sea, nothing is better, than relaxing day by the swimming pool, which is pretty large size and is based under the palm trees and one step away from the dangerous bar, where you can treat yourself with a drink, cocktail or Greek Ouzo. George is a great cook and if you have breakfasts and dinners booked, you can be sure you will get a different Greek dish every night! What a treat! If you would like to explore the Kos Island, you can rent a quad bike, motorbike or the electric bicycle - like me - single traveller. The rental place is approx. 6min walk from the hotel. You can be sure, if you go through the mountains across the island on the other side, you will not see any people - and that is sooo great, if you wish for to don't see any people :). Kardamena is the nearest town. It is the typical Greet town famous for it's white walls and blue rooftops and doors.

I have zero complains as I would write more, about what I liked :-D. I would say only change the color of the light bulbs over the head above the bed. They are now too cold and bright color. I like to read a book, before sleep. Here I could not leave the light on, as it was to bright. But you'd rather stay outside on the patio with my drink, because light is warm out there, seats are comfy and the bar is close :-) One more GREAT think is, every Friday they have a Greek Night, which is an incredible event! ----and if you would like to know more, you have to visit by yourself!

We spent a whole week there and let me tell you something: The owners’ willingness to go the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and at home, didn't go unnoticed. It didn't take long for the place to stand out and win us over. On our way out, we shed a tear or two. Location-wise, we couldn't have wished for more. Slightly remote from Kardamaina town, it was really easy to move around the island (by car, scooter, buggy...). The pool was fantastic, the views incredible, the beachfront beauty took our breath away. Renate and George are outstanding chefs and we surely ate more than we could possibly manage. Niko ensured that we got whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted, even before we knew we wanted it, without sounding too pushy. But, for us, the takeaways of why you should stay at this place are straight forward: it comes down to the owners’ incredible hospitality craft: they provided us with the privacy we were looking for at times but were also genuinely happy to shared some insights on the Greek way of living, and personal details of their lives in a way that makes you feel like a part of the family. If you are looking for the true spirit of Greek hospitality, look no further.

Breakfast was fine but the same every day. The orange juice was too sweet for our taste. The owners and their staff make you very welcome and are very willing to help if needed

we found it hard to find cool spots in the very hot weather. We felt the shady side of the building could be exploited as a shady area rather than just access. The umbrellas are too small to give good shade for large parts of the day
