After being stranded at the airport by a cancelled flight, this hotel was the perfect location for us The staff are incredibly friendly and understanding. A wonderful buffet breakfast on offer and a comfortable room with air con. Free airport transfer too was a wonderful addition

The staff make this place. Everyone working there is so friendly that they make you feel like family. The first beer I got there they said, "on the house". The second beer I got they said, "on the house". I told them "you have to let me pay for something at some point". Nikos helped pick up my family from the airport who were traveling with two babies and then helped shuttle us to Kamiros to catch a ferry. It was also pretty late at night when he did this. Absolutely went above and beyond to help us out and with a fun spirit/attitude the whole time. He then gave us his number for if we needed transportation from Kamiros on the return trip even if we weren't staying in the hotel. Additionally, the food at this place is delicious. They grow all of the ingredients used in their kitchen and you can taste the freshness. The hotel is a family business and they make their guests feel like family. They are seriously so, so kind.

No complaints. This place is great and affordable.

Brilliant location from the airport and easy to find. The owner met us on arrival and despite the late hour, arranged to have the chefs prepare us dinner which was so helpful. The next day the owner dropped us back to the airport (to pick up a hire car) and advised us that if we needed anything during our stay, to get in touch (we were staying in another part of the island), so that was so exceptionally kind & so appreciated.

My only criticism is that the air con was particularly loud and interrupted our sleep but otherwise, would highly recommend this lovely hotel.

This nice family run hotel is a pearl. They are the best people you can have as you hosts. The hotel is easy access only five minutes from the aerport. You don't need a car as they will drive you to the beach and to Paradisi. I even got a 10E haircut and was driven there and back 😀 Even tho the forrest fires raged on the island of Rhodos they were calm and did all they could for their guests. I felt really looked after all the time. My family and i can without dubt recomend Rhodian sun hotel to evereyone ❤️

We stayed due to a flight cancellation and the owners (family owned) could not be more accommodating and helpful. They went over and above to help us. The hotel is in a lovely location, quite remote but within walking distance to a lovely beach and restaurants. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. The food was great, the evening meal was lovely with traditional home-cooked dishes. All staff were so friendly, but a special mention to Nico (Nicholas) who assisted during our stay but also was our driver back to the airport.

The hotel feels a bit tired in terms of decoration and equipment, I think in its day the hotel would have been top class but overtime has been let go a bit which is a real shame but did not deter from our stay of 2 nights.

Excellent welcoming, helpful staff. Lovely gardens and swimming pool area. All the sunbeds had their own umbrella on a individual patios dotted around the pool gardens . Very well thought out. Well cared for gardens. Good Greek night with BBQ every Thursday, with very good Greek musicians and dancers.

On our double bed we prefer a double sheet not two singles on top. The hotel is a little 'tired' but we were told they are doing major renovations this winter to up grade the facilities and decor. They need to replace upgrade the toaster used t breakfast.

Although other reviewers have mentioned the location - not too far from the airport which is actually very convenient ,the precise location of the hotel is isolated from other hotels - on all points of the compass ! It's within walking distance from the main road However this all adds to offer peace and that's a commodity in short supply in most locations offering budget room rates inclusive of breakfast - good choice with quality coffee.as well . You may find an electricity bulb missing in your room but you will find an abundance of old fashioned hospitality and concern that your holiday goes well from the owners and staff

The staff there was incredibly open and welcoming, just as you would expect it in a typical Greek Hotel. They were always ready to help when needed and even considered every extra wish. The atmosphere was very comforting and pleasant, and the other guests seemed genuinely happy to be there. I arrived late in the evening and they still served food, which was great since there are not many other places around. All in all very content!

Friendly homely atmosphere. Food, service, staff excellent. Beautiful views from the front and rear of the hotel. Very good location to visit other areas of the island. A car would be helpful but the hotel can organise trips for you! Very close to the airport. Greek night with barbeque, really good fun and the musicians were excellent. Great lobby (foyer), terrace and pool areas. A/C was very good. As was the room service. Excellent value for money.

My bathroom was small with some small repairs needed.
