We originally booked the hotel for 3 nights but loved it so much we stayed an extra three nights then, after travelling to Xylocastro and Nafpaktos for a couple of weeks we returned to Loutraki to stay in Hotel Excelsior for our last few days. We stayed firstly in a seaview room which was excellent, then in a family room which was even better. On our way home we treated ourselves to the suite which gave us lots of space. Every room was immaculately clean and we loved the fact that furniture was of the more traditional style.We absoutely loved every minute of our stay in this hotel which was our favourite in the entire trip. The staff were outstanding making us feel very much at home. Every single person from everone on the reception desk, the lady at breakfast, the ladies who clean the rooms and the lovely lady who acted as night porter were all fabulous. They were professional but relaxed , the perfect combination. Always ready to help and seemed happy in their jobs.We loved them all and were very sad to leave but we will be back.

Nothing. We had no complaints at all. Breakfast was a bit silent but after I mentioned this to the lady who was on overnight there was some background music sorted. For us this hotel was perfect. Just the kind of place we like to stay in when we are in Greece.

Hotel Mesala is located in a perfect place. Infront of river Nile. Beautiful ambience. Hotel price is very good rates. Restaurant food price is not expensive. Service is excellent, especially boss' son, Osama. very helpful, honest and good businessman. All the hotel staff are courteous and polite. The river boat ride at 4pm is perfect with beautiful sunset and geese flying above the sky. You can request balcony facing the river Nile.

On hotel with a very good position. Although there are terraces next to the hotel, with the windows closed you don't hear any noise in the evening. Cleanliness, friendly staff.

Although it appears as having free parking, it is not true. Indeed, we found a free parking space, but it's a bit of a lottery. You have to find a parking space in a city with relatively few parking spaces.

Great location with easy access to coffee shops and bars, friendly staff, very clean bedroom, good sea view from bedroom window, very good self-service breakfast and able to eat it outside on sea-facing terrace.

Parking is on street (not a dedicated space) so it can take a long time to find a parking place near the hotel.

We enjoyed the unobstructed view and large balcony all day - first thing in the morning, during the breathtaking sunsets and for cocktails after dinner! Also, shops and cafes are just steps from the hotel's front entrance and the back entrance provides easy to access the boardwalk, beach and all of the restaurants. Surprisingly, because of the good quality windows and location, noise was never a problem.

The closet could use a few more hangers and maybe a dresser unit. Also, some wall hooks would be very convenient.

Extremely warm and helpful staff, I felt like home. Any request was fulfilled willingly (I particularly appreciate the teapot with hot water any time I needed it). Very convenient location though can be a bit noisy on the weekend nights. There was a safe box in the room. The room was clean and light.

The interior of the room and corridors were tired and outdated. Tiny shower cabin can be an issue if you are above average size of height. No tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Nice hotel right on the main road overlooking the beach and the sea. Nice balcony with table and seating. The hotel has a nice lobby with a view of the sea. Right next to the hotel there is a good shop, many restaurants, cafeterias and the beach. Very helpful receptionist, upon arrival we got a smoking room, since we are non-smokers, they willingly changed the room for us. In terms of temperature, the room was in very good condition for January

Very weak wifi, otherwise everything was fine.

The location is great, in the center directly and everything is near. We has the balcony ans beautiful mountain view as well.

The only thing is, that shower is too small and tight.

Hotel Excelsior has an old European resort town feel, with high ceilings and large spaces. On the water by the little harbor of Loutraki, you can take a walk along the esplanade and the beach to the Corinth Canal. Our mountain view was on the street, but we slept soundly. We especially recommend the delicious breakfast on the water. Street parking was not a problem.
