I am a wheelchair user and the staff members went out of their way to be helpful to me.i was originally booked to stay at a larger and more modern hotel nearby as I was attending a convention there but they could not accommodate my accessibility needs as they had no lift and would not make a ground floor room available to me. This hotel has a lift and did not see accessibility as a problem. I also liked that coffee was available at no extra cost whenever requested , which was a very nice touch. There was a very friendly atmosphere and I felt comfortable staying alone while my friends were at the other hotel. The breakfast was fresh and copious and the pool and garden area tranquil and pleasant. a kettle was provided.

The room was not cleaned every day and there was some dust on the surfaces . it is a little dated but I was informed that a new hotel is being built so perhaps this will be remedied. The TV has only local stations except for BBC world news

We stayed in one of the hotel's brand-new apartments about 50 meters around the corner from the main Thomas Beach Hotel building. The modern room was quiet, with an excellent lighting system, and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We enjoyed the breakfast in the main building, as well as the comfy lounge chairs at the swimming pool. The hotel staff were all pleasant, kind and helpful, and made us feel most welcome. The location was ideal, with plenty of restaurant, cafe and bar choices close by, as well as the beautiful sandy beaches at Nea Makri and Marathon and the lovely pedestrian walkway that extends along the beaches. ATMs and shopping were available within a 5-minute walk, also. We were very impressed overall, and hope we can return to stay here again next year.

Having to leave to return home! We stayed at Thomas Beach at the end of a long holiday in Greece, and only wish we could have spent a few more days there.

It was nice to stay in the spacious room and the house with the pool. I found the whole area of Nea Makri questionable. Maybe it isn’t really aimed at foreign tourists? I’m not sure. I found the beach house very good value for low price. The staff was outstanding, very helpful. The outside pool is lovely to hang out by, very clean and peaceful.

The building is well cleaned but visibly very old, just like the whole area. Some wall plugs were in a state that I’d not dare to touch them, same for the AC. the room walls had signs of many mosquitos squished to death. Remember to close all windows before it turns dark outside, otherwise you will be eaten by bugs in no time. Sound isolation is practically non-existent between rooms or towards the outside. You will hear all your neighbours, parties from outside and the lovely roosters in the morning.

Hotel is close to the beach but in a quiet location. Swimming pool is clean and well-maintained. There is nice lawn next to swimming pool area. Breakfast is monotonous but fresh and tasty. We were on the 4th floor and our room was spacious and in a pretty good condition with beautiful sea view. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They cleaned our room regularly and helped with preparing food for our baby.

Some minor improvements could be done. Door to the bathroom was hard to close. No laundry service.

Breakfast was very good, fruit ,corn flakes ,pastries , toast etc. and especially Olga’s omelet’s, , excellent service, the position of the hotel was a little further from the beach and local restaurants /bars than we thought, but it wasn’t a problem as the hotel pool was brilliant , Lunch of delicious sandwich’s and beer or any drink you wanted brought to your sun lounger made lunch time very enjoyable, we had a very lovely week, Terry and Mona Gore

There wasn’t much to dislike at all, the hotel is a very clean friendly family run small hotel, but the surrounding area was a little scruffy due to a few buildings/apartments etc being closed , I guess that’s because we were a little early in the season, all in all a very nice holiday destination , you won’t be disappointed .

Nice staff. Good breakfast with eggs, ham, sausages, and fresh cut fruit. Nice pool in garden setting. Nice modern room with nice light wood furniture. Good wifi. Large shower, 2 minute walk to beach with no service so we prefered pool. Great option to stay for flight out of Athens instead of staying in Athens. About the same taxi price,

No sandwiches at bar pool. Needed to close door and turn on air conditioning to small amount of misqutotes.

I chose this place for one night stay in Nea Makri and it couldn’t have been better. it’s a nice hotel , comfortable, clean . good breakfast included in price . it has a pool and you can serve breakfast outside by pool in the morning. Really good location, just very few minutes away from the beach. my sister were very impressed by the hospitality of the staff when we arrived late in the evening . I would choose to stay again with you in the future definitely. kind regards

Helpful and pleasant staff. Breakfast very nice. Room good,a bit tired around the edges. The area was hard to assess as it was raining when I was there. The pool area looked really good.

Breakfast was a delight; the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming, truly outstanding hospitality. The garden was gorgeous and a real treat to spend time in; the pool was remarkably clean and pleasant. The view from the room was wonderful, the location was impossible to beat (a few meters from the sea and harbour and tavernas, 3 min walk from shops and bakeries etc...). Fresh fruit was delivered to the room each afternoon and the mini-fridge and electric kettle (with tea and coffee) were another thoughtful touch.

The locks on the doors to the room (balcony and main door) were very basic and made us feel less comfortable about leaving belongings in the room (the safe also didn't work...)

Useful beach stopover before returning our hire car and flying home. The manager allowed us to check out late as our flight had been postponed and also very kindly allowed our son to use the pool and change in our room when he spent the day with us, having travelled out from Athens. Spacious room and sea view balcony. Large, deep pool in nice garden.

Would have liked a little more fruit and choice of baked goods at breakfast. The patio door to the balcony didn't close properly, though this have been deliberate for ventilation.
