We absolutely LOVED our stay at Amalia. We were on holiday as a group of 3 friends who meet somewhere every year as we live in different countries. 2 of us stayed for 10 days, and 1 stayed for 7 days. Everything about Amalia was excellent. From the minute we arrived, we felt at home. The hotel is a beautiful, family run place, spotlessly clean, the staff are all wonderful, kind and fun people who go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. We spent a lot of time talking to the staff and getting to know them and really enjoyed their company. The breakfast is great (the olive bread was a particular hit with us), Kostas is a fabulous bartender and makes the most amazing cocktails - catered to your individual taste and preference. The pool area is very relaxing, with good music and at the right volume. The hotel location is perfect…. A 10 minute walk into Skopelos town and heaps of beautiful restaurants close by. We can’t recommend Amalia more highly and couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more than we did. It’s a very special place, with very special people. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely return. Friendly and helpful staff Bar in the pool area is a welcome addition - including the lights and projector of the moon in the evening. There's also music at a quiet/comfortable volume level too which is nice. Perfect location Great to be back again Comfortable beds New aircon units are great

The pool is cleaned daily but the pool tiles at the deep end need cleaning/scrubbing as they were slightly green. For anyone that has OCD with cleanliness, don't worry the pool is safe and good to swim in.

The staff very friendly efficient and helpful Couldnt do enough for you. The staff around rhe pool exceptional Costas tried very hard to create a grwat atmosphere in the evenings he plays great music we loved it

Comfortable, clean rooms with a balcony. It was quiet and there were shutters- we all slept well. Lovely pool with a nice little area with chairs and sun beds, it was never very busy and we always found somewhere to lie out when we wanted. Great location, just a few minutes to walk from the port and close to shops/ restaurants etc. it was good value for money - we didn’t have breakfast included, but they did give us a complimentary one on our last day which was nice - a few cakes, fruit and yoghurt.

View from our balcony was a view of other people on balcony’s!! but it was nice to have somewhere to sit out and the place was great overall so no biggie!

Immaculate hotel with lovely outside area, great pool and lovely staff. We could have stayed longer and would certainly come back. The facilities are basic but you don’t need anything more. They could not be friendlier or more helpful and the town it’s self is a perfect spot to travel the island from. They have a very simple fresh breakfast or you can walk across the road to the takeaway or many lovely restaurants nearby. Loved our few days and will be back. Thank you!

Tiny tiny grumble about the shower not be fixed to the wall, but that’s it and that’s not really a drama - mostly a cause for hilarity.

Everything was great. Comfortable bed, spacious room, nice balcony. Clean and fresh. Much better than the pictures on the site. Fantastic personnel, especially the guys at the pool bar - best coffee and cocktails on the island! Very happy with our stay! Definitely coming back next time we are in Skopelos!

Internet poorly working but we didn’t come for that so it didn’t matter for us that much.

Staff were exceptional, nothing too much trouble. Location was perfect for what we required, close but not too close to town, easy for access to the port. Swimming pool and bar area were terrific. Costas (bar manager) was very friendly, helpful and more than accommodating on choice of drinks.

Lovely staff, always with a smile on their faces and willing to help!! We got a better room withoun even asking for it and on our last day we were offered breakfast without any extra charge! Great location, with everything you might need just a few meters away. Also it is only a 5-10 minutes walk to the port and chora. Pool is awesome and in general our experience was very positive. Thank you!!

A suggestion for the future is to put umbrellas with the sunbeds.

The staff and especially Mr Costas at the pool area kept us fully entertained with his great music and exceptional company. The cocktails were amazing as well. We felt like we were meeting family. They were so kind and friendly and we wish we had more time to spend with them. We would love to visit again.

Too short a stay

breakfast was basic but complimentary on last day so no complaint. rooms clean and quite, room serviced everyday. coffee and tea making facilities and water in fridge on arrival which was welcomed. pool nice bonus with towels provided if needed. staff very helpful with a problem we had dealt with quickly.

nothing we didn't like, apart from breakfast room hot.
