The Vanessa is situated in the muddle of the strip, the rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels on request, the pool is perfect size for the hotel and never over crowded due to the majority of the guests going to the beach (500M away). You get a great view if you have a room overlooking the pool with the sea & mountain views The pool bar serves drinks all day and the food is great value

The only thing's that let it down for me was having no toaster in the room & the TV being in the room for the 2 single beds & not in the double bedroom.

Great location, close to stores, restaurants, bakeries, best ice cream. The walk to the beach is a pleasant one even with kids. The stuff is very friendly. Everything was clean. The room was cleaned every day. The room was equipped with everything you need for making a breakfast or a simple dinner. The beds were comfortable. The pool was clean. Being at seaside I really appreciated having a broom to clean the sand and a lot of space for drying the beach towels and clothes. Due to season ending we could check out later. I just wish we would have known this before.

Some improvements can be done: mosquitoe net as there were many, in the bathroom the shower was a bit rusty, a coffe machine would have been nice since I don't like instant coffee. One of the beds was noisy but we were able to find a workaround by removing 2 boards while we stayed. The cot was very old and missing some screws. Our baby was small enough to use it but for babies that are already standing it was not appropiate.

Pool is on the small side, but lovely and well kept. The rooms are a generous size (we stayed in a 1 bed apartment) and cleaned daily with towels and bedding being changed frequently throughout our stay. The hotel is in the middle of the main strip with plenty of restaurants and bars across the road. Taxi to resort from airport was 17 Euros and takes no more than 10 minutes. The bar area is fab! with evening entertainment such as quiz and a singer, food is great with generous portions. We will definitely be back! ps... special mention to the reception staff who where just brilliant and helpful!

The greatest thing in this hotel are hotel and bar staff, especially girls! I must say that Anna, Angela and Kayleigh made our trip so much better with theirs kindness, excellent service, and good mood every day. You are so lucky to have them! The hotel is great, the pool is very clean, the room cleaning was every day and it was always also very good! Food in the pool bar is really tasty also with great affordable prices, drinks too. Highly recommended for vacation with family with kids, as well as for young people.

Kitchen could be better equipped.

The Hotel Vanessa provides an excellent customer service from arrival to departure, all the staff are very pleasant, extremely helpful and go about their work with a smile on their face, nothing was too much trouble, The rooms were a generous size, the pool and surrounding areas were kept clean at all times and the location is excellent, also the hotel menu offers a good choice of food which is excellent quality and great value for your money.

To be honest, there was nothing to dislike about the hotel.

Room was nice and big enough. Kitchen area had everything we need and the bathroom, particularly the shower was a good size. The location was good. Staff were friendly and responded to a Hello or Good Morning when we passed them.

I think the cleaning equipment was shared across the rooms and it would be great if each had their own mop etc. The water went off on one of the days but it did come back on when we popped to reception for help.

We got married here in Greece last year and wanted to come back for our first anniversary. We just wanted something quite cheap in a good location for a week close to where we last stayed and vanessa didn't disapoint. The staff couldn't help us enough, all very pleasant and happy. We absolutely loved it an so did our little boy. We will definitely be back here in the near future. Thanks for having us an see you soon

Apartments are spacious with a good size balcony. Nice bar with very friendly staff, Reasonable prices for food and drinks and food was very good. Location is good ,plenty of bars and eating places right outside. Special mention to man at reception whose name I cant remember but who allowed us a late check out as our flight was a late one. All in all a lovely stay at a nice hotel with very friendly staff.

The pool area could be bigger as somedays there were a lot of people but it certainly did not spoil our holiday.

This is a good hotel if you look for a cheap option in a central location. Staff is super lovely - Angela at reception booked me a last minute spot for a sunset boat tour which was sold out online. The cruise to Mizithres and Keri Caves was beautiful, highly recommend. The cafe near the hotel serves really good and reasonably priced food. Supermarkets and excellent restaurants within 5 min walk. Restaurant Zakanthi is superb! And there was live saxophone music on Friday night.

Pool never got crowed. Excellent spot on the main strip.

Other in considerate guests that woke us up or stopped us from sleeping by knocking on each others doors and talking very loud after 12.30am. Even playing a game right below our balcony one night and twice we had to ask them to move and they were very rude when they did eventually move. There was no one on site to stop any night noise.
