Unique property, atmospheric, beautiful, large bedroom, good tub, lovely grounds and interior garden. nice waitstaff that were enthusiastic about the wine, wonderful history and the audio guide was a great way to educate us. Good short hikes nearby. We arrived on bikes and they had good ebike storage and charging stations.

Sketchy internet in the rooms, the fact that dinner was a self serve buffet (rather than Ala carte) in the high end dining room was our biggest disappointment. Nevertheless, it was a good value and a totally unique experience and well worth it. Our standout stay in Hungary.

The food (breakfasts and dinners were included; alcohol was extra) and dinning room staff were excellent. We thought our room was a great size, but on checkout, the staff said we had one of the smaller rooms... So, the other rooms must be pretty big.

Coffee... Those 'coffee machines' that do everything - espresso, cappuccino, etc, just don't work - Cappuccino..., not even close. And, that's about the only thing I can say that is negative about our stay.

I loved the place, a completely magic location. The hotel is very comfortable. The restaurant is amazing, the food is really good, although the dinner may be too heavy to digest if you stay for longer than 3 nights. The hotel excels in:

WiFi doesn't work in the library which is a big disappointment, as I went there to complete a project on my laptop that required the usage of the Internet. So, sadly I had to finish it looked up at my room, without being able to enjoy the library.

The hotel is a beautifully renovated monastery with a lot of modern elements. While the breakfast is in the baroque refectory, there are modern meditation rooms with fridges where you can grab some wine or coke. The location is next to the forest, with beautiful sunsets in the small park attached to the hotel. The staff is super friendly, explains a lot and gives a lot of tips. Very recommendable! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful building in a very quiet part of town. Renovated to such a high standard with peace and quiet in mind. The restaurant is fabulous and the level of service exceptional. There are lovely gardens surrounding the hotel with seating areas for your relaxation. The dinner bed and breakfast is very good value for money. Be aware that it is a three course set menu with two choices of mains. A very good choice of wines are available.

A historic and beautifully renovated monastery in a scenic location. The reception and wait staff were extremely helpful, friendly and kind. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The restaurant served delicious food for dinner and the buffet breakfast was excellent with freshly made eggs on request. Highly recommended!!

Such a special place for peace and quiet. Excellent 3-course dinner & breakfast with efficient service.

The reception staff was cold and unwelcoming (depending on who was there). The room we got was rather small. No fridge and no coffee& tea making facilities in the room, as required for any 4'* hotels. It may be difficult to stay here in summer, given poor ventilation.

The peace and tranquility. The beautiful restoration. The beauty of the site. Near to woods and fine walks.

Not having a car, it was a little removed, though there was public transport. The hotel could provide a small local map showing bus stops and schedules.

Everything went very well, the only problem was to find the road. Nevertheless, there were very kind people in the neighbourhood who helped us

electrical sockets were not working well and my I phone was not charged well

Room was very quiet. Clean and elegant. Wifi worked great -- 60 Mbps download in the suite we had. The included dinner was tasty. There are just a few choices each evening, but all was prepared well and served with graciousness. The grounds are beautiful. The furniture and lighting all very classy in a kind of updated Art Deco way that complimented the monastic simplicity.
