It felt like a home away from home. From the moment we stepped in to the time we checked out, everyone made us feel special and cared for. The rooms in this boutique hotel are exquisite, tastefully designed and comfortable, and the food in the restaurant is well prepared. Saligaon is well located for travelling and sightseeing in North Goa. Go there and let the Shanti Morada team take care of you. Jayavant, Narender, Pintu, Savita - you were amazing. As soon I stepped into Shanti Morada I was whisked away to a magical place. The staff were just amazing and took excellent care of my family and me. The room was meticulously arranged for our arrival and the size of the room and bathroom were fantastic. The style of the resort is so rustic and ethnic with some amazing figurines and furniture. We enjoyed the pool and the pool bar. As there are only 20 rooms it was a very cozy atmosphere. The buffet breakfast was very good and 5 stars to our chef Narendra who catered for all our requirements from yummy chilli omelettes, dosas, fried rices to waffles and Nutella. A huge thank you to him and his restaurant staff! The resort also invited us to a ‘Lohri’ celebration and involved my father-in-law to start the function. It was very touching and very thoughtful of manager Arpit to do that. All in all a beautiful resort with a very genuine and exceptional staff. Keep up the great work Shanti Morada!

Coming from Australia we are used to some amazing cocktails both new and classic. The cocktails were very different to what we are used to. This could be improved as cocktails are basically down to measures and techniques.

I had an early check in request and I was surprised to find that they not only took care of it but ensured a smooth check in. The welcome was really nice with a garland of Sea Shells and an awesome welcome drink (kokum) and ironically our room name was also Kokum. Room was huge and the bathroom was the biggest I have ever seen, literally we can fit another bed. Food was surreal, everything that I tasted was top notch and I would recommend dining at least once. Ambience: heritage hotel and everything around you makes you feel it. The swimming pool is the center of attraction. Since our visit was during Xmas they had arranged a live carroll and jazz music and the lady was just awesome, while the music was being played, they were serving mouth watering starters. Spa: Definitely recommend and the place is cozy and they cater to their needs

A little quiet paradise not far from the fuzz of Calangute. Enjoying luxury in the middle of nature. Excellent pool and jacuzzi facilities with pool bar included. Excellent spacious rooms with all you need. Around the clock food and drinks. WiFi coverage all around the residence. Attentive staff. All you need for your getaway in Goa. Definitely going to miss this place

The hotel admin needs to do a better job answering queries prior clients check in. Specially answering on platforms such as booking.com. Due to location to go in and out car/taxi is often required which the hotel is using their advantage provide highly inflated prices. While convenient, it’s better you arrange drive and car separately from the hotel. The breakfast while with some variety it could be better, overall tasty.

We loved everything about this hotel. From the beautiful decor to the wonderful helpful staff, this was the perfect place for us to stay to start our first ever visit to India. Te location is slightly remote but it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the busy resorts once we had visited them. Calangute and Candolin are just 15 min taxi ride away and the staff at the hotel will arrange taxis for you whenever you need them. There is a beautiful pool and jacuzzi bar to relax in after a busy day sight seeing and the food at the hotel is superb too. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful.

The service is 6 star!! The staff are just incredible and can't do enough for you. My wife wasn't too well so they made a special meal for her (and only 300 rupees!),. The staff found out it was my daughters birthday and decorated this beautiful canopy with lights and balloons and had an amazing birthday cake for her as a surprise. It melted our hearts! Any time I mentioned any food I liked, the chef would make it or go out and find it for us (mangoes in this case). The food was incredible! Just brilliant brilliant service! Best I've ever received. Even my young kids said so.

Nice location. Its a peaceful oasis and only a short taxi away from the busy town.

Breakfast was average, quality of food and variety available was OK. However, the size of dining room was quite small and they hotel was full with a group who were very loud. That also meant service for our party of 2 was affected. Slow service and several items, juices, pastries etc were finished and took long time to be replaced.

The hotel is beautiful with amazing pool in the central courtyard, bliss!! Unfortunately the large group had 16 children between them and took over the serene pool area. Very unruly and noisy. They ruined what should have been a tranquil, peaceful and relaxing stay. Groups with large numbers of children should be banned. Only 4 x sun loungers was also an issue but that's down to space.

The staff were warm and attentive, both at the front desk and the restaurant. They were proactive. Thank you Ms Divya, Ms Savita, Mr Jaywant at the front desk. Thank you Chef Narendra Singhji, Mr Sukhan, Mr Laltu, Mr Ajay and others in the restaurant. The room and bathroom were clean, large and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was sumptuous.

The costly taxis that ferried us around Saligao. Perhaps the hotel should also have autorickshaws at reasonable fares.

We spent two weeks at the Shanti Morada over Christmas and New Year and had a wonderful time. It’s set in an old Goan home that has been converted to a very comfortable hotel with large, well equipped rooms. The staff are fantastic and work extremely well together as a team, they clearly love their hotel and staying there feels like living with a family. The service from all staff was way above expectations, and they all deserve a shout out, even the garden staff. We really appreciated their enthusiasm to help us enjoy the best of Goa with great recommendations on beaches, restaurants, markets, etc. and very good drivers on hand to take us. The daily presence of the Head Chef in the restaurant to make sure we were enjoying the food and help us understand each of the local dishes on offer was fantastic, and I particularly enjoyed a trip to the local fish market and private cooking class with him and his team during my stay. Arriving at the Shanti Morada you’ll be given a warm greeting by the staff that lasts well beyond departure.

The property looks great and has a great boutique as well as colonial vibe. Since number of rooms are not very high the service and conversations were extremely personalised. The staff were well-trained in hospitality and made it a point to make us feel wanted. The quality and taste of food was excellent with customisations accommodated often. The pool was great too. There was also a billiards table, a jacuzzi and a spa which we didn't get to use.

Size of the balconies in our rooms were quite small - which I wouldn't have been miffed by if I was expecting it but booking.com has pictures with much larger balconies as part of the same room's album. Also the surrounding location was not really scenic - having said that it does make it central to most of the beaches of North Goa
