The Chettinad Heritage is a lovely, lovely place and I'm very happy to have stayed here. My room was very, very comfortable & clean, and delightfully painted in Chettinad style. The property's just outside the main town, and is very quite & peaceful. The staff are very kind & attentive. One of the staff arranged for a local rickshaw driver, a lovely man, to take me to Athangudi Palace, the temples & rock fort at Thirumayam & also the Sri Solai Aandavar Temple in Pallathur, which made for a great morning. Also, the simple food is exceptional, possibly the best food I've eaten in South India! Thanks very much for a lovely stay 😊

I wasn't able to get hot water in my room, but I didn't need it.

Very nice and friendly staff (this is a family run business). The building is very nice, spectacular columns, many old times objects and photos that are memories of the hotel owners' ancestors. And the surroundings are great - the village of Nemathanpatti where the hotel is located is worth a walk around, it's full of other beautiful Chettinad style houses - one of the neighbours even invited us to see his 110 years old villa inside. And the hotel food is great too - make sure you try their spectacular Chicken 65 dish.

The room was a little bit small (the bed was big and comfortable but there were no chairs). Some of the power plugs in the room didn't work.

The property is located in a small, peaceful village. It's a good place to feel relaxed, just reading a book or walking around. The staff is very friendly and kind, always willing to help you. Food was also amazing. I ate breakfast and dinner, and I felt that each dish was highly elaborated.

Probably it's a bit expensive. And Wi-Fi connection was not always good, but it was ok.

Staff was professional, helpful, friendly and trustworthy, kindly. Specific architecture house from Chettinad. It was an amazing experience. Magical decor house with all accommodations. The price was fair. Local food from Chettinad is served carefully. Nice place to be if you visite Chettinad. Enjoy it.

if you want to experience Chetty Naadu old traditional house it is one of the best place to go. amazing architecture and colourful place nicely preserved old with some modern comfort

I was a solo traveller they booked me in to a room with shared balcony . I messaged to check if this is safe for me they moved me to a nice big family room but did not tell me it was on 2nd floor and has no lift. it was okay for me but they did not check room windows are completely sealed and fresh air floor if AC is off

It was a absolutely lovely stay everyone was very helpful and with food was great cause they looked for every wish...great rooms best we had in india and we had a lovely new year with cake...thank you everybody you made our stay like a dream

entrance road is small parking space needs to be redone and possibly asphalted for safe and easy parking

Excellent breakfast, freshly cooked and delicious.

Toilets could get some additional items : toilet paper, hooks to hang clothes, shelves. Most of the plugs were quite loose and we could not recharge our phones correctly.

The food was amazing chettinad food. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The bed was very comfortable. The entire place was very clean. They had fun little games including one local game. The room had a balcony.

The WiFi signal was not available in our room. The pressure in the showers were a little low. The room did not have a wardrobe
