The hospitality was exceptional……the tone is set right at the top by the owner Mr. Danish ……what a wonderful gentleman and a host. Every member of the staff took personal care of us…..Mr. Anoop and Shafeeq at the reception/ front desk were absolutely stellar with their hospitality and timely advice. Shafeeq regaled us with beautiful insights of his experience in the region. A huge thanks to Mr. Ramzan for stitching together a wonderful itinerary given the weather related restrictions around the time we visited. Arif……the guy who drove us around was simply fantastic……such a humble wonderful person and an expert driver navigating the treacherous terrains of Ladakh….. Last but not the least, the staff at the restaurant (Zasgyrath) were very friendly and always up for a nice banter. A big shout out to Tara, Sunil, Arun for their hospitality. The management is conscious of the environmental impact and has already taken serious actions to curb / mitigate the impact on the environment given that Ladakh’s delicate ecosystem. The bottling plant that serves the guests with pure filtered water in sealed glass bottles. This is an absolute winner and encourage the management to push for more such initiatives. I would strongly recommend guests to stay at the Grand Dragon just for the incredible hospitality.

Perhaps a bar at the location would be nice.

Grand Dragon indeed grand in terms of hospitality We loved the service. They just pampered us so much we became addicted to the love and care. They have wonderful and friendly staff be in the reception or in the kitchen or housekeeping or the drivers, travel desk or meds team. Everyone are trained well enough on hospitality. This property is indeed a gem in hospitality industry one can not find a replacement. very good option for families, couples and friends. We had a wonderful experience and they treated well enough. We loved the food and more than that their level of awareness towards first timers to Ladakh who had to deal with altitude sickness

the only amenity missing out is the gym and the play room. may be because of the location and off season time they may be non functional but would be great if we had access to them in the future.

The staff was very helpful as we acclimated to the elevation. They recommended what food to eat, to stay hydrated and even supplied oxygen for my husband when his O2 level was low. The beds were very comfortable and we had a quiet room with a great view.

Being very few travelers in the hotel at this time we felt a little overwhelmed with the attention we received from all the staff.

Luxurious hotel, excellent hygiene, friendly staff. Great food and excellent breakfast. Staff was exceptionally helpful. Excellent rooms, bathrooms. Well equipped in every sense. Best located hotel in Leh.

This is an expensive hotel and a true 5-star. So, it is a must to have at least a Spa and a Gym. A heated swimming pool would also be nice. A little more choice of restaurant would be good.

Exceptional property. Everything from room cleanliness to food was top notch. The serving staff at the restaurant took fantastic care of us. They had a full South Indian breakfast spread which we really appreciated. Mr. Ramzan had organized the car for us for the full trip (Nubra/Pangong) and everything was smooth.

All very good. Price is high. But I was happy overall.

The breakfast was good for 3 days. On the 4th day, 1/3 of the breakfast buffet section was closed (less food choices). I guess it was because there weren't as many guest for the 4th day? This was the only thing I get to pick.

Everything. We have travelled widely in India and this was one of the best hotel experiences that we have had. The hotel is very well equipped, rooms have all necessary facilities and were cleaned to a very high standard. COVID precautions were good, and we had so much confidence in the hotel precautions that we chose to have the room cleaned daily, something that we have not done sjnce the COVID outbreak. We stayed just as the town was reopening after the winter break which meant that there were not many restaurants open. We ate the hotel buffet three nights running, which we did not regret. The hotel is a 15 min walk from Grand Bazaar, which is easier to negotiate on the return downhill journey.

The food was not great at buffet. Lacked taste be it sambhaar, paav bhaaji ,dosa etc. Though there was large spread but lacked flavour and taste. The dessert was also average taste.Only awesome thing was their chaat..This review is so that they improve their menu and check the taste of food.It was my 50 th bday and I was a disappointed from food point of view.Take this as feedback to improve.

The services of the hotel were amazing, the entire staff was dedicated to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Everything was excellent but maybe the breakfast buffet could have more options.

The rooms and meals were luxurious. The lobby was full of artifacts for some great pictures.

It certainly was overpriced. The hotel canceled our prior booking without intimation and we had to book again st higher price which of course was atrocious.
