Food & people..

Place needs more clean up.. it's a nice resort.. lot of good vibes.. but it need to be more cleaner.. Beds aren't that good condition.. toilets arent functioning properly.. it looks like it was good once upon a time.. most of the facilities were closed.. weren't functioning.. Property is at one of the best place.. very positive vibes.. very calm.. lot of nature.. We loved it.. it wuld have been better.. if abive things are taken care off..

The staff was very cooperative. Just tell them some issue they will take action immediately. Especially all the staff in restaurant including manager and chef all were excellent. In staff I must mention name of Kiran he was exceptional with the service and the way of dealing with to customers. In all good package definitely worth value for money being paid. We are happy.

The beds were too soft so some issues for back pain happened could be improved further.

Special mention to Aniket the manager at the fern samali front desk he was was very helpful. Miss Pooja for her nature trail. Her enthusiasm for nature and birds she taught us so much. She showed state bird green pigeon. Entire staff were friendly.

We booked 2 tulips rooms on 14 Oct to 15 Oct 2023. 4 PPL Family. Rooms had balcony best views from both rooms. But Rooms seemed old needed management. For example cleanliness. Spiderweb was found next intercom area. Overall nice pleasent experience. Food was good.

Very warm and friendly staff. Pet friendly and eco concious hotel.

The first night was the hotels 11th anniversary party so the restaurant was closed but we were offered a free buffet which was very limited in cuisine options and did not include any continental dishes which would otherwise have been available from the restaurant. The music from the party was loud and went on till too late. Nothing wrong with the staff having their celebrations, which is a very commendable thing, i just wish I was informed of the same before making my booking instead of after. The massages at the spa were overpriced by double and not upto the standard expected at that price.

The location is perfect. Amazing staff. very helpful. Specially mentioned, Ravindra from Restaurants, was very polite, and helpful. Vipin from SPA. very professional.

first and foremost, They don't accept Amex cards. Additionally, We booked a Mangnolian cottage - a King-sized bed has two small Matrices, very uncomfortable. AC remote and TV remote were useless due to weak battery. They don't serve beer at Pool Cafe. food is also average.

Nice quiet property located on a hill overlooking the ocean. The rooms are located in cottages (2 per cottage) and are reasonably sized and appointed. They all have a nice sit out area with a view of the ocean. The restaurant has a decent selection of local and international cuisine. The food is relatively reasonably priced considering the type of hotel.

The property is quite spread out which in most cases is a good thing but, if you are travelling with elder people or someone with restricted mobility it might be a bit of a challenge to move around.

It was a good experience and very scenic, we really enjoyed the overlooking balcony towards the sea and mountains. The design of the bathroom was innovative. As the resort was pet friendly we drove all the way from New Delhi i.e. almost 1500 km as we wanted to give our pet the experience of the sea along with a comfortable stay which was only possible as the resort was pet friendly.

Even though the bathroom was very innovative however it was still open and hence at night there was issues of mosquitoes, bugs etc. My wife woke me up if she wanted to go to the washroom at late night hours. There should be a provision to improve the approach the bathroom during night hours.

Property was very beautiful and food was excellent! We loved the pool area and the proximity to nature. Staff was friendly and helpful. With regards to food: Crab masala was to die for!

Certain parts of the resort were not as clean, specifically the area outside the Magnolia Cabin balcony had plastic bottles and wrappers which were not picked up.. Overall resort seemed to be a bit understaffed

The property is secluded and quite and calm. The pool is in the shade hence accessible in the afternoon too. The spa was also good. Very clean property.

The restaurant could not handle the crowd and service was slow. The restaurant also shuts in the afternoon, for a 2 pm check in we reached at 3pm and there was no option of having lunch.

The fern is a beautiful place with quite a few activities. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest. There are activities for kids and adults so you can stay in the hotel. The staff was especially polite and responsive. We had a great time in dining, special thanks to Vandana, Atul and Sameer for the great service. The Chef is also quite good, he always keeps checking with the guest on the food and even recommended us on some food. The front staff Pooja was a great help as well during the process.
