Nice hotel, good facilities, b’ful lawn facing river.

I booked 2 rooms with a pet,but on arrival the receptionist told pets are not allowed, although it is a pet friendly hotel, on insisting that i had booked, on line through booking .com after checking ,for pet friendly hotel.They reluctantly agreed. More over they didnt include b’fast in our package,although rates are of 5star property.

Everything is great and fantastic. comfy beds good breakfast/ dinner options free toiletries and water bottles ample parking and lots of other stuff amazing view of the river and rooms are clean/ well maintained

The heaters/AC , they were too old and not working properly even after their engineers came to check. also when it did work, it was too noisy!

The singers during the evening hours play music so loud that the rooms above the dining area becomes tonally unlovable because the rooms are not sound proof.

Location is right on the river which looks pretty scenic.

Long list here but I’ll mention the top few. 1. Rooms pictures are fraudulent and misleading. I booked a “Deluxe room with River View” which also had a bathtub according to the pictures here. However, upon arrival I was told they do not have any such room category at all. I had to either choose a room with a view or one with a bathtub (and a pathetic view). The staff was hardly owning the error and instead blaming it on some error by booking.com 2. Restaurant: Went there for lunch and half the menu was unavailable irrespective of the timings mentioned in the menu. Breakfast spread was quite repetitive and dull. Only saving grace was our server at breakfast who was really prompt. 3. Staff: This probably tops the list of cons. The staff at the reception is literally of no help when you face an issue. It felt like being in a bureaucratic government office where people just keep you redirecting to other individuals and eventually the latter turns out to be utterly helpless. Absolutely unapologetic, disgraceful and unprofessional.
