The staff were very good. Quick check-in. The person who accompanies us to the room was extremely good (sorry, I did not ask the name, somebody who worked as security in Mangalore previously). He was very pleasant and extremely courteous; he helped us throughout in luggage and vehicle, offered us a welcome drink, offered to show the rooms and choose the spacious one for 3 people, and spoke to us. Hassle-free check-out, extremely polite reception staff, good room service, great coffee, good breakfast (especially the vadas were perfect). (clean rooms, good lights, good furniture, aesthetics). This is our third time here and it still remains the best option in Manipal.

9 nights with my wife and daughter in this beautiful haven have been a remarkable experience. The staff are incredibly hospitable and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. - Special mention for Mr Dibankar at the lobby receiving us with open arms and helping with logistics everyday. - Sunitha akka from the restaurant staff who also kept our 2 year old toddler so engaged and having fun and was always very helpful, Anitha and all the other restaurant staff. - Regular checks and inquiries from Mr Michael D’Souza the restaurant manager and the entire team overall. - All the people behind the scenes including chefs, housekeeping staff and security. - The front office staff including Naro, Pallavi, Dennis and all the others for their hospitable and good natured services. The rooms are well spaced out and have all you need; the place smells pleasant and give you instant positive vibes as soon as you walk in; the services are top notch and the food at Mosaic is fantastic; especially the amazing breakfast spread everyday. The pool is also clean and well maintained and a pleasant experience. We have had a very memorable experience and if and when we were to visit Manipal again; Country Inn would definitely be our go to place as the Radisson standards have been met completely. Thank you for a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable relished experience in Manipal :)

The rooms were of regular size. The furniture and linen was of good rich quality and subtle mature colours. The AC was a relief for the hot and humid weather outside. The bathroom finishing is important for me and it certainly did not disappoint the Raddison brand. Well done designers! Breakfast had a wide variety. There was a buffet and you could order additional fresh items from the kitchen. We had a total of 4 breakfasts and some items changed the next day to give variety. Mr D'Souza, the restuarant manager took care to give personalised custom to the diners. Every waiter was courteous and helpful. Perfect. 2nd stay for me. Will come back again. We ordered some in-house dining like freshly prepared tea and lunch. The quality was really really good.. and the price was equal to what I would have paid for a regular restuarant in Bangalore! I'm pleasantly surprised.

Gym equipment needs updating. Nothing else...

The hotel is as advertised. Its a 4 star hotel in India and not everything is perfect, but for what it lacks in the quality of the rooms, it more then makes up with the polite and welcoming staff. I have travelled a lot and this has been by far the most pleasant experience when it comes to people working in the hotel. Everyone, from the restaurant to the cleaning staff, everyone is super nice and helpful. Restaurant has amazing food, masseuse is great quality, rarely you find something so good in the hotel. And I want to give a special thank you to Kanak, I am not sure what her role exactly was, but she was there in the reception helping visitors with anything you needed. Her genuine attention and care have made my stay in this hotel, the best hotel experiences so far. She is just a trainee and already way more professional than any hotel staff you find in luxury European hotels. If I am ever back in Udupi area, this is definitely the hotel I am staying at.

The location is 10/10 and good option for Manipal as it has very limited properties.

The staff. This can break or make the whole trip. I cannot recall the name, but snarky remarks and sarcasm is a big no no in the hospitality industry. Hope they review and give sensitivity training to their staff at the front desk. However the other staff around were as warm and welcoming as the people of Udupi are known for. Will give them another try if nothing else is available.

The quality of food was excellent, the variety of food available was good. The Breakfast buffet had good spread between South Indian, North Indian, English, and Chinese dishes. With regards to room service, Quantity of food was apt for the family and the staff suggested and helped to choose the appropriate amount of food to avoid wastage.

There was no negative experience with regards to Breakfast, Dinner, and Room Service during our two nights stay at this hotel. :-) One, feedback.. the in-room coffee maker needed some cleaning, as one or two ants were seen inside them. So, we did not use it. Instead, opted to have awesome hot filter coffee at the restaurant.

There is no driver room in the hotel which is available in most of the hotel I had booked double occupancy so should receive two room access card, the towels and general items in the room should also be kept two, here all was one and when I asked the reception guy he said we give only one access card, this logic I have seen only in this hotel.

Hospitality, Facilities, Breakfast, Dinner are really good, The rooms were clean and quiet, Spa was good. Swimming pool, Gym and travel conceirge was also good.

Smell in the corridor was not good Breakfast the Baking products - croissant, were not great taste My Wife did not want to swim in the evening as it was open pool next to Restaurant SWitches in the room are not well marked, you have to get used to it.

We had booked 3 rooms. The hotel was kind enough to upgrade one of the rooms for us. So we got two bigger interconnected rooms. The third room was smaller than expected. And as the windows don't open, it can get a little stuffy inside. The staff was welcoming, and the breakfast spread was good. Wifi speed is limited. But the hotel can provide additional data on prior intimation for an extra fee. Service was quick. One of the door locks malfunctioned; the key got stuck in it, locking us out. The hotel got it fixed quickly. Overall, a good place to stay for a short visit.

Since some rooms are smaller, lack of ventilation can be a problem. Although the extra charge for additional data is low, it's odd that a hotel with a business centre does not have a leased line.

we have been visiting this place since a long time, great ambience, sumptuous food and above all great staff. Especially at Mosaic & Next we have to commend the entire staff at the leadership of Michael D’Souza and Yadav. Lawrence takes along the juniors pretty well and the female staff are very hardworking and will never let you down. we will be visiting here again and again
