Location was excellent. Property felt like brand new. Facilities were good.

Pool was not heated, hence couldn’t enjoy due to chilled water due to weather. Cleanliness wasn’t top notch. I would give only 9/10. When we checked in, I checked the washroom and although it was cleaned since WC seat cover had a urine drop, also wash basin handle had soap remains. Plus wash basin drain wasn’t functioning seamlessly. Another thing I didn’t like was few staff at breakfast restaurant and elsewhere was staring us as if we don’t belong or deserve to stay in a hotel like this or may be because I got it on a discount thru Booking.com. May be it’s just my feeling and I could be wrong also.

I stayed at the property with my family for a night and we all truly enjoyed our stay. The property is easily accessible and situated in a good locality with ample parking space and has all other aminities. Room was cozy and comfortable and has been very well maintained. Hotel staff are polite and trained well, they are always ready to attend to any of your needs or queries. Special word of appreciation for the restaurant staff, who were gracefully handling some disgruntled guests during breakfast, as the restaurant was buzzing on the Sunday morning. Thanks for the experience and I'm sure I shall visit again!

The location of the hotel was excellent, and the surrounding atmosphere was beautiful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing a wonderful first impression of the establishment. Every aspect of the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, and spacious, with outstanding service in the restaurant where we dined. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the service was attentive and efficient. The room itself was well-equipped and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return for an extended visit in the future.

Rooms were excellent, the standard 4 - 5 star types... nothing to major to complain about. All amenities and standard of facilities you would expect from a Grand Mercure were there. The restaurant was great and food was really excellent. Surprisingly we also found that it was quite reasonably priced (comparing to the prices we are used to seeing in Pune / Mumbai at places like these)

The hot running water in the bathroom was a bit of a hit-or-miss. Sometimes it was great, other times I got a sudden cold shower in the middle of a Luke warm bath (which I actually wanted to be nice and hot) Another thing I can point out is that the restaurant is quite a chaos and is seriously understaffed at breakfast times. Service was bad, the waiters were either confused or even forgot instructions and orders. This can be quickly fixed though

Great hotel. Fantastic location. Good facilities. Me and my entire family thoroughly enjoyed. Room is so spacious for 3 of us in a room but was manageable. Bath room is bit cramped but again we managed. Bed is comfortable to get a good relaxation overnight to get charged up for work the next day. Buffet dinner is awesome and oen should try. it may be bit expensive but worth.

One of the lift was not having any security system while other is having. Staying in such facilities will have some expectations. Attending to minute details especially on security systems can be added value.

Location breakfast specially Ms. Babita. She made us very comfortable. Very soft spoken and carring. Happy to see such staff. She Should be rewarded.

My special request was not served on time. I had booked for twin bed however I have been handed over with king size bed. When I ask reception to check over my request she said it will take 15 min to provide us the required room however after 45 min to 1 hr I have got the room that the staff has shifted us while the room was still getting cleaned and we were waiting out side the room till they finish. As we travelled from dubai to bangalore and from bangalore airport to the hotel and this extra waiting made us more exhausted.

Value for money for stay but rooms are very small compared to price.

Breakfast is a bit expensive so we avoid it. I have been a regular guest @ Grand mercure but South India breakfast is fix idli, dosa chatni sambhar.....even been 5 star hotel they always serve same or similar menu. That's a big problem for tourists from other states that's why less tourists visit South India. Management must now upgrade the style of North Indian food as that's also the same as South Indian taste

Well my kid liked the place and wife did not have a reason to complain, so thats half the battle won. Room was clean. Attached balcony with a full size french window made a lot of difference with morning sun coming into the room. Service was polite and prompt in the hotel as well as the restaurant. The restaurant(La Uppu) is quite good. The outside seating of the restaurant has good shade and overall cool feel to it with some activities for kids. Would recommend to anyone and will prefer staying here again on the next visit!

the soundproofing between rooms was not all that great. We had a door which connected to the next room. The door was locked. But we could hear kid crying there at night

The staff were very courteous, from the reception team to restaurant/spa. Room was spacious. Breakfast was very diverse, fresh omelettes, fresh coffee however would recommend to add some tags with spiciness (some dishes were really spicy).

I would recommend a deep clean in the bathroom - the sink/taps and the shower window, taps had a lot of limescale/calcar spots. Toilet itself needed a deep clean. In addition the curtains had a funny smell, might recommend washing those too.

I stayed at the Grand Mercure between 26th Jun'23 to 28th Jun'23 with my family. Pros: 1) Amazing food, we ordered the dinner for two days from their dine in menu, very good quality and quantity and taste and well. 2) Their breakfast speard is decent.

Cons: 1) We were given two interconnected rooms, but the hotel authorities did not even bother to check if the doors work. We were very tired and wanted to rest but had to wait for 45 minutes as the technician had to make sure that the doors work. 2) The housekeeping staff are not up to the mark, when we went out on the second day, the bedsheets were not even changed. Not expected from such hotel! 3) The shower gels were not even filled.
