Hotel Green Olive

The hotel Green Olive is at a good location closer to the airport and we received a complimentary ride from the airport. It is very clean with friendly and smiling staff. The restaurant is also cleaned and foods were very tasty. The hotel recommended taxi service is excellent specially our driver associate, Mr. Anwar took an extra effort to book our taxi from Bombay to Pune this morning. No one could expect a better service with amount of money paid. I wIll use the hotel facility if I plan to revisit Aurangabad.

There is not a nearby good restaurants with a different style of food service. Sometime you prefer to enjoy a different style of food and cooking.

Very clean and comfortable room - one of the cleanest we have stayed in India. Location is a 10 min walk to the bus stand for getting to Ellora, the Fort and Ajanta. Restaurant had excellent food and service. They helped organise a car from where we were previously staying in Solapur - that was very helpful, thank you! They can also help organise a car for Ajanta, Ellora etc (if you prefer a car to the bus!)

Wifi constantly dropped in and out in our room. When downstairs and connected to a different network it seemed to work fine. Note: laundry prices were super high compared to other similar hotels in India we have stayed at, so we didn't use their laundry service

A very comfortable two nights with a pleasant breakfast. The room was clean and tidy with effective ac and a hot and powerful shower. A few nice eateries nearby, and I ate at the Bhoj, which sells a veg thali in a comfortable setting. I also went to Dada Dosa, which again was good food at a reasonable price, although you are sitting out in noisy traffic. I know that the Green Olive has its own restaurant , however, I didn't eat in it, although the menu is extensive and appears good value. The Ellora Caves were amazing, and my taxi there and back was 1800 rupees with the driver choosing to sleep in their car whilst they waited for me. I would have no objection to staying here again.

It's on a busy road, and the pavements are not particularly easy to navigate in order to avoid traffic. It's a bit outside the town, but there are plenty of cheap taxis and tut-tut.

Room: Large, clean, quiet and comfortable Bathroom: Smallish, clean, great shower Aircon and Wifi: Both great Staff: Friendly (offered a free pick up from the railway station which was great) Food: Amazing, the restaurant has a top chef. Location: Good, not far from the railway station and good for trips out to the nearby "caves". Price: Excellent price for what they are offering.

Very minor point, the bar area was nice but opened at the same time as the restaurant so there wasn't anywhere to hang out and chill in the daytime which would have been nice.

What a really lovely hotel, quiet and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful organising all our taxi cars (which I must add that the drivers were really good and helpful also). When sonething was needed the staff were very prompt in organising or getting it for us. The restaurant has a good choice of food, and breakfast was adequate. The hotel also has a small bar, which is a bonus. This is more than a 3-star hotel. We would happily stay here again and will recommend to friends.

Nice location comfy clean modern rooms

I booked for 2 nights with breakfast for both days.. We arrived early on the first day at 8 am. We wanted to have the breakfast that was available. I explained to receptionist that I would be leaving the next day in the night at 12 midnight so we would not be eating breakfast on the last day though we had paid for it. He still charged me for that breakfast that we took. because we arrived early despite the fact that I had paid for breakfast for the last day and we were not going to take it because we were to leave the night before. He was very unreasonable saying they always get those request and never agree. I was not happy.

The room and bathroom are very clean. They have a restaurant with a good variety of Indian dishes. They provided airport pickup and drop-off, as well as a packed breakfast for my early checkout. I also booked a cab to the Ellora caves and back through them, which worked very well.

No hot water in the shower in the morning. Some confusion (probably language-related) with my dietary preferences in the restaurant, I got a dish with paneer even though I asked for something without cream and cheese.

The room was very clean, beds comfortable and everyone was polite, friendly and helpful. The front of the hotel is on a busy highway but the back opens onto a residential area. The restaurant was extremely clean and inviting. We ate there all 3 nights that we stayed in the hotel. The food was excellent. The location is convenient to the bus station and railway station (short ride with a tuk tuk). The market area was also within walking distance. A very nice hotel for the money.

The Green Olive is by far the best place I’ve stayed, in my 3 months in India … I would give it a bonus mark if I could. The Management should start a training school !, The hotel is spotless, well done the house keeping team, I don’t know who they were because they were so quiet and so efficient that I didn’t see or hear them. So lovely to have such a clean bathroom and toilet, hot water and toilet paper. My laundry also came back smelling and looking good. The front of house staff were extremely professional and helpful, they organised taxis for trips and the airport, made good suggestions about where to visit and even ordered a packed breakfast for my early start. The restaurant was outstanding, everything that I ate was delicious - a BIG thank you to the kitchen staff. I really liked the wait team, from the managers down they went above and beyond to ensure that I had a good experience. A couple of the waitresses had such lovely smiles … costs nothing to smile at people but makes such a big difference! Finally I want to congratulate the hotel for using a local family taxi firm, JK Green, I knew up front how much trips were going to cost and the price was always lower than anything that I could have organised. The three drivers that I had were considerate, polite and very patient, Hameen and Jameel both had my back when it came to buying things too.

The primary purpose of our visit to Aurangabad was to visit the Ellora caves and Ajanta caves and time permitting see other nearby interesting places. The location of the hotel was ideal. The hotel receptionist himself at our request arranged a taxi company to take us around for the two days we stayed there. The same taxi company arranged a curtesy pick-up from the airport. Return to airport we paid the normal taxi fare. We were more than happy with the services of the hotel as well as the Taxi.

There was an unpleasant smell(like kerosene) in the room and in the corridors. The drainage from the shower area was very poor and there was flooding. The temperature control of the shower was sometimes impossible. Only way to avoid getting scolded is to run out.
