We had such a fantastic time here that we ended up extending our stay. The location is excellent. Very short walk/cycle to the main area for restaurants and bars but far enough away that it's peaceful and not too busy. You can rent a bike through the reception area for a very good price. We also booked an excellent and well priced snorkeling tour through reception. The spa connected to the villas is very well priced. You can rent a snorkel for about €3/day and if you walk a few minutes up the beach, there are a ridiculous amount of turtles. Magical! Samba villas supplies bean bags and loungers on the beach front which we loved. The breakfast was pretty good. Not the best we had while in Indonesia but excellent for the price. We have to give a special shout-out to Roby and all the staff for making our stay so special. Roby always had the biggest smile for us and was more than happy to help me organise a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. I had messaged before arriving to ask if they could help me to organise a cake and a balloon and they went absolutely above and beyond. Roby organised 2 massive pieces of cake with a birthday message written on the plate, our room was decorated while we were at breakfast with birthday banners, flowers and balloons, and all the staff came to the room with a guitar to sing happy birthday!! It was so special (and my boyfriend was very surprised!) and so fun so thank you to Roby and the team! They did all of this free of charge. Just amazing. The staff also organised a horse to carry our bags to the dock when we were leaving. The staff made us feel so at home and welcomed. Everyone was so friendly and smiley. Thank you for such a special stay!

The pool was closed for maintenance and this wasn't advertised on booking.com but considering you're a 30 second walk from the beach, this really didn't impact our stay.

Staff was amazing! Special thanks to Roby and Ibo who were the primary staff taking care of us. However, the entire staff was attentive, polite, and friendly. you can tell they care and go above and beyond. we stayed in the 3 bedroom family suite overlooking the pool and beach. The location was perfect! close to everything and the best beach in my opinion- we saw turtles just off this beach. the spa was great and had the most reasonable prices in the island (from what I could tell). the food was very reasonably priced and tasted really good! Roby organized our bike rentals and made sure our laundry was washed (obviously extra cost and not onsite but he picked it up for us). you had the option of eating on the beach or in your room and also the food came out rather quick. i would come back and stay in Samba Villas in a heart beat if only it was closer! Best experience so far in Indonesia. thanks again Roby and good luck with everything! you made our last few days in Indonesia memorable!!

No issues at all. cats roam around outside the premise (around the island and not unique to this location) but they don’t bother anyone so unless you are super allergic or hate cats, then this might be a turn off for you. but if you just hate cats, there may be something wrong with you anyway.

We are a family of 3 adults (parents and son). We were in the Garden villa. We had 2 separated bedrooms with their own facilities (bathroom including toilet as well as a safe ) and an interconnected bedroom that we did not used. The hotel provides towels to lie on beach chairs also provided by the hotel. The breakfast is served on tables on the beach in front of the hotel. Very nice! The location is very good, close to all attractions. Just next to the hotel, we rented bikes for the day. Massage is also on offer at the hotel but we have not tried. On our request, the hotel arranged our trip from/to the hotel by car/boat - coming from Lombok airport and leaving to Lombok Kuta.

We stayed in the Main Villa; it was huge and so beautiful! It was clean and nice. The staff was very helpful and smiling. Very good breakfast also. We liked the location; close to everything, but still away from the music, bars etc. so it was quiet. And the best - breakfast at the beach and sea turtles just from the shore. I will definitely recommend this place!

Not so much the hotel, but in general we think there is a lot of plastic and trash on the island and at the beach. Wish the beach would be cleaned everyday (also in front of Samba Villas! ) and a better system for the trash on the island.

we stayed in the Beach view Villa and it was awesome! 3 air conditioned rooms, right next to the pool. Just out our door was the front desk which had an excellent staff to help us with our stay! everyone who worked there while we stayed was great to deal with and they always had smiles on their faces! it was a great location close to all amenities! Food, Turtles, and the beach! having a massage/manicure/pedicure facility on site was an added bonus! Everything was great. We will be back!

There is nothing not to like.

Samba had everything we needed. It was in a great location right across from the beach and our room was really spacious and clean. The staff were super helpful too.

There wasn’t any seating around the pool.

Amazing villa with pool right outside the villa doorstep. The bar was great. Included breakfast was brilliant with lots of choices. Restaurant food was great and on the beach. Massages upstairs were good and very reasonably priced (cheapest we could find). Location was great as away from the night time party places but only 10 mins walk to get to those places. The beach on the doorstep is great to swim and snorkel in. I even saw a turtle there. The turtle point location is only 5 mins walk as well for snorkeling with turtles. I saw 5 turtles there while snorkeling. The receptionist (I think his name was Ori or Ovi) was really helpful, friendly and accommodated all our needs. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

To be honest, we expect something different, but different is not bad, so we really enjoyed our stay! The staff is extremely friendly and polite. They made everything possible we asked for (bikes with kids seat, laundry service, birthday cake etc.) The bungalows are spacious and clean. You have a free water station at the hotel and you get breakfast at the beach just across the street. We often ate lunch at the hotel, and the cook is pretty good, try the tenderloin or the pizza! The spa especially the massage is cheap and good.

The bungalows and the terrace are pretty dark, you often need to put the lights on. The muezzin is singing closely at the mosque, but after two days we didn’t hear him anymore.

There is absolutely nothing I could fault about our stay! All the members of staff we came into contact with - the front-of-house, spa staff, housekeeping - provided exceptional customer service, and a willingness to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast was a wide choice, was served quickly, and consistently high quality. We ate it on the beach! The areas of grass and plants around the rooms are maintained everyday, and the cleaning was very good. The room was really comfortable, and the shower pressure was strong. It is a brilliant location - not far (under a ten minute walk) from the harbour, and amongst the local shops/eateries etc, but also on the cusp of it so it is a little less busy/bit quieter. We appreciated having a safe in the room, and the fridge was helpful for cooling water etc. It is situated right next to the beach, where we ate our breakfast everyday on sun loungers/beanbags. The cocktails were fantastic. We extended our stay as we felt so relaxed there. Most of all, the staff were just brilliant - thank you for being such great hosts.

The room was really spacious, with ample fan & a/c. Lovely towel swans on the beds to greet us! The staff are constantly sweeping & keeping the grounds welcoming & pristine. Breakfast on the beach was so delicious, with food coming super quick. Tables were cleared immediately. The highlight was the staff-so incredibly friendly, helpful & went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable & memorable. They brought out some cake to surprise my husband on his birthday 😃 what a thoughtful gesture! Special mention to Roby & Ebu, who were extra in their efforts to make us happy & greeted us by name!!!!!
