The staff were mostly very nice and considerate, however on my final day they were extremely persistent in trying to get me to leave a positive review, standing round me while I tried to eat my breakfast. As I was already running late and anxious about my flight this was particularly inconsiderate and irritating.

Location is central, next to Chinatown and close to the originally Dutch old town (Kota Tua). Chinatown starts right at the back of the hotel and it is walkable to the central square of Kota Tua. We were upgraded to better rooms and they were really spacious and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. The hotel seemed extremely clean and not particularly worn out. Sound proofing of windows is decent (we even stayed during Ramadan). Transportation to and from the airport is easy enough, price with the Bluebird taxi app only about 10 EUR.

The area right next to the hotel might not appear to all (fine for us and it seemed safe still). The street in front is currently a massive building site for their rapid transit system (you won't hear much though due to good windows). Pool closed early at 6 PM due to Ramadan (normally the pool is 6AM - 9 PM). Pool seems a bit shallow and small for such a huge hotel though. If you don't reserve a room with breakfast included, adding the breakfast later is 200K Rp per person which is the price of lunch for 3 people in an okay Indonesian restaurant. So if you want breakfast, better get it included in your reservation.

Normally we don’t write reviews, but we are happy to make an exception for this hotel. The employees where more than amazing. They make you feel like royalties, and do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible! Especially Robert from the reception, who gave us a free upgrade. Nurdin and his colleague from the pool bar were so kind, just like Jimmy and Yadi from the breakfast. They did everything for us and checked if everything was okay! Rooms were wonderfull, big and clean. Amazing view from 28th floor. We will definitely come back when visiting Jakarta.

The staff from the reception to housekeeping to restaurant to security are really nice and helpful! Everyone working there is the hotel’s best asset. They are all very kind and polite and are genuinely and sincerely helpful. I’d like to mention the servers and the manager in the restaurant who have been very attentive to the guests all the time. I wish I can name them all but I hope that all of them are recognized and awarded for the great service they are providing to the guest. If there is one reason I would stay in this hotel again, it will be the staff! Keep up the good work! Stay safe and I hope to see you all again when we visit Jakarta!

Not much of an issue since we stayed in or out most of the time but we didn’t feel like it was pleasant to walk around or explore outside of the hotel.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. They even allowed us an early check-in, which was convenient. The location was right for us, as we wanted to explore the old-town and china town areas. But our guides were worried about petty crimes like phone snatching in the area. So, if your purpose for being in Jakarta is not to explore these areas, this may not be the right location for you.

Location, I've given a room that smells like sigarret but they change it right away after I complained

Reception was very good at listening. I kindly asked for a room change due to a group of teenagers being too noisy in the next room. The lady at reception fixed it immediately and put me in a quiet and peaceful room. As a result I slept very well.

The man in charge of the breakfast@ the restaurant was too persistent in me signing up for breakfast for the whole week. I just wanted to eat my food but he wanted me to agree/do the paperwork just before I had a chance to enjoy my food. I could also feel him watching me every time I’d go to top up on my food- I felt a bit uncomfortable

The best hotel I had ever been, early check-in and late checkout which suit our arrival and departure time.The breakfast was excellent, dining room staff are very attentive. We received complimentary dragon fruit smoothies which are so delicious from Ardita and complimentary freshly pick mango from chef Jimmy. Would love to return again next time to enjoy your exceptional service and the chili garlic prawn pasta.

I gonna said the location of the hotel, the traffic quite messy, do not have sidewalk to have comfortable walk.

All staff wear beautiful clothing appropriate to their position. High security level, from incoming cars and guests on the ground floor up to your room. At the large and beautiful front desk during check in, the Bell boy will bring all your luggage with Bell carts to your room. Rooms are large, very clean and beautiful with big windows from floor up to the ceiling and noiseless. Every few days you get new room slippers, fresh bathrobe. The rooms are provided with fast wifi and fixed internet connection, different power outlets, big flat screen TV and 2 telephones, large 6 meter office desk with a comfortable office seat and many space for your luggage including a save box and a little sofa with table. The bathroom is very spacious with a big clean and beautiful shower cabin with 2 shower heads. All soap and lotions are from a high quality. High quality towels, hair dryer. Every day new tooth brushes, tooth past, bottles water, etc. There is a big swimming pool with towels, dressing room, pool bar, fitness room and spa. During weekends there are food stands in the evening at the pool bar where you can order fresh cooked food and drinks. The breakfast buffet restaurant on floor 3 is very big and beautiful with many different food sections. You can make choices of Western, Chinese, Japanese and Indonesian food, fruits and drinks. Different choice of high quality coffee and healthy drinks. All food are made fresh and constantly checked by 2 assistant chef cooks on taste, presentation and quality. The assistant chef cooks are always standby at the food sections to serve and provide you with information about the food. All food cutlery ect are sterilized. The restaurant managers which are responsible to ensure the restaurant run smoothly and efficiently and food service managers. All the staff members of the restaurant are highly dedicated to there job and provide you with the best service, its a perfect teamwork with a smile and happy feeling.

The hotel was fully booked when we arrived, so the hotel upgraded us to double King Suite with 2 bedrooms. Since there is only 2 of us, the room (or more like a private apartment) is very spacious. There is nice bean bag and the comfortable sofa to snooze. The bathroom is very clean and well equipped. There is washer and drier, fridge and microwave oven. In short, we can just stay in the room because it is too comfortable.

Although we did not manage to use the washer since we only stay 1 night, it will be good if we can have the laundry detergent or purchase it from hotel (I don't mind). Also there is no soap or detergent to wash the utensils at the kitchen in case after use you need to reuse the utensils. All utensils are very clean though :)
